Hands 79-82: Pump the Brakes

Hand #79: Still stacking his new chips after eliminating Randy Spain, the chip leader Lind recieved a walk in the big blind.

Hand #80: Ott raised to 200,000 from the button, forcing the blinds to fold.

Hand #81: Holding the button, Lind opened for 255,000, and he claimed the blinds and antes.

Hand #82: Ott went for a walk in the big blind.

Hand #78: Ken Lind raised to 225,000 from under the gun. Randy Spain reraised to 725,000 from the cutoff and Lind called.

Lind check called Spain's 600,000 bet on the     flop.

Lind checked the   turn. Spain moved all in and Lind called with    for two pair. Spain had    for top pair. The   river gave Lind a full house, eliminating Spain in 5th place.

Hands 73-74: Anybody Hungry?

Hand #73: Holley opened for 105,000, and Ott called to see a flop of    . A continuation bet of 55,000 by Holley was met with a raise to 225,000 by Ott, and Holley came along. Both layers tapped the table on the   turn, and when the   completed the board on the river, a bet of 295,000 from Holley won the pot.

Hand# 74: In the last hand before the dinner break, the seniors quickly folded around and headed for the buffet, leaving Holley to make a simple raise of 125,000 to claim the blinds and antes without a fight.

Hand #66: John Holley raised to 140,000 from under the gun and Dana Ott reraised to 300,000 from the cutoff. Holley called the raise and then checked the     flop. Ott continued for 400,000 and Holley folded.

Hand #67: Barry Bashist raised to 150,000 from the small blind and Holley called from the big. Bashist check-folded to Holley's 160,000 bet on the     flop.

Hand #59: Barry Bashist called the big blind from the cutoff. Dana Ott, the small blind, completed and the Ken Lind in the big checked his option. All three players checked the     flop. Bashist bet 200,000 on the   turn after Ott and Lind checked. They both folded to Bashist's raise.

Hand #60: Randy Spain got a walk in the big blind.

Hand #61: John Holley raised to 140,000 and the remaining players folded.

Hand #62: Bashist completed from the small blind and folded at the announcement of a raise from Holley, in the big.

Hand #48: Lind raised to 175,000 after action folded around to him in the small blind, and Bouskila surrendered his big blind.

Hand #49: Bashist limped in from under the gun, Bouskila obliged with a limp. and Spain checked his option in the big blind. On the     flop, Bouskila fired a bet of 90,000 forward, forcing Spain to muck. Bashist elected to raise it up, however, making it 240,000 to play, and he earned the pot when Bouskila folded.

Hand #50: Holley raised to 150,000 from under the gun, and Spain called from the small blind. The dealer fanned the flop of     across the felt, and Spain check-folded to Holley's 225,000 c-bet.

James Miller - 7th place

Hand #47: Randolph Spain opened for 125,000 in middle position, and he heard James Miller announce himself all in for his last 645,000 or so chips. Spain snap-called with his   , and big slick was dominating Miller's   .

Flop:    

Every poker game needs a little sweat, and we got ours with two spades on the flop. Miller now needed any spade or ten in the deck for salvation, but the turn ( ) and river ( } did not cooperate, sending him to the payout desk in 7th place.

With the win, Spain pushed over the 3.5 million chip plateau, and as he is seated to the left of chip leader Kenneth Lind, there may be more fireworks to come.

Hand #45: Bouskila opened for 125,000 from middle position, collecting the blinds and antes.

Hand #45: Ott limped in from the small blind, and Miller checked his option to bring the flop of     on board. Ott tried a 125 lead out bet, but folded to Miller's all in shove of 390,000.

Hand #44: Kenneth Lind opened for 115,000, and Jack Ernest Ward moved all in over the top for his last 670,000. With the chip lead and    in the hole, Lind stood and announced a call, and he was delighted to find his hand was crushing Ward's   .

Hands 38-43: Seniors Sparring

Hand #38: Spain opened to 150,000, but his hand went into the muck when Holley three-bet shoved for his last 800,000.

Hand #39: Lind went for a walk in the big blind.

Hand #40: Miller open-shoved from the button, risking his last 355,000, and he was rewarded with the blinds and antes.

Hand #41: Bouskila limped in from the small blind, Spain checked his option in the big blind, and the flop fell    . The textured board prompted Bouskila to check, and he quickly folded to Spain's 150,000 wager.

Hand #42: Ott opened for 150,000 from middle position, Spain called from the small blind, and the two players saw a flop of     hit the board. Spain led out for 175,000, but snap-folded when Ott raised it up to 500,000 even.

Hand #43: Holley raised to 110,000 from under the gun, and Spain called that bet from the button. Both players were forced to fold, however, when Bashist moved all in over the top for 1.2 million.

Ken Lind raised to 105,000 from early position and Randy Spain made it 305,000 from the hijack. Lind called and we saw the     flop. Both players checked and the   turn came. Lind checked and Spain bet 200,000.
