What Could've Been
Hiren "Sunny" Patel opened with a raise from under the gun to 32,000. Blake Bohn called from the next seat, and everyone else folded.
The flop came down , and Patel bet 24,000. Bohn made the call to see the pair the board on the turn, and Patel checked. Bohn bet 52,000, and Patel folded the face up.
"We could've played a really big pot," Bohn commented, but didn't show his hand.

After Hunter Frey raised to 33,000 on the button, action moved to Joseph Pergola in the big blind. He reraised all in for around 275,000. Frey folded, and Pergola won the pot.

Frey Takes One With a Four Bet
From early position, Hunter Frey opened the pot to 33,000. Action folded to Chris Hunichen who made a three bet to 79,000.
Back on Frey he put in a fourth bet to 148,000.
This prompted Hunichen to ask, "How much did you start the hand with?" Frey remained silent and Hunichen let go of his hand.

Action folded to Blake Bohn in the small blind, and he raised to 35,000 against Patrick Kubat's big blind. Kubat reraised all in for 373,000. After a minute of thought, Bohn folded, and Kubat won the hand.

First Flop at Table #446
Action had folded around to Russell Crane in the small blind. He raised to 36,000 and was called by Chris Hunichen in the big blind.
The flop fell and Crane made a continuation bet of 40,000 which Hunichen called.
The dealer put out the on the turn and both players checked to the river where they checked again.
Craned showed for two pair with a king kicker, but Hunichen showed for two pair with an ace kicker and he scooped the pot.

On Table 447, Jonathan Taylor raised to 32,000 on the first hand of the day. Hiren "Sunny" Patel made the call from the big blind, then check-folded to a bet of 30,000 from Taylor on the flop.
On the other table, Table 446, Joseph Pergola moved all in on the first hand, but received no callers, then Tommy Vu shoved all in on the second hand, but also received no callers.

Delayed Start
Last night, there was some confusion in relayed information from the tournament staff to the players about the start time for Day 3. The confusion was between 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. While the start time was scheduled for 1 p.m., the tournament staff is now trying to contact a couple of the missing players who may have been told incorrect information and are not here yet.
Normally, it is the players' responsibility to know the start time for their events, but when misinformed, the tournament staff will do what it can to rectify the situation, which means delaying the start and getting a hold of the absent players. The cards should be in the air shortly.

Sunny Patel Hopes To Continue To Shine On Day 3
Welcome back for Day 3 of Event #14: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em here at the 2013 World Series of Poker. With just 14 players left from the original 1,819 that began, today will be the culmination of a great event and the crowning of another gold bracelet winner.
Leading the way is Hiren "Sunny" Patel with 1.51 million in chips. The only other player joining him in the seven-figure club is Jonathan Taylor with 1.222 million. Another notables still remaining are Russell Crane, Blake Bohn and Chris Hunichen.
Each of the remaining 14 competitors is guaranteed $20,504 at minimum, but every single one of these players will be gunning for the big, bad $454,424 first-place prize that's up for grabs. Once play gets down to a 10-handed affair, the players will combine at one table.
The cards are set to be in the air at 1 p.m. local time in Las Vegas, so get ready for some action!
