Ryan Miller:    /      /
David "Bakes" Baker:    /      /
Matthew Ashton:    /      /

Ryan Miller completed and received calls from David "Bakes" Baker and Matthew Ashton. Miller, who was short, got his remaining 8,500 in on fifth and the other two players created a side pot. Ashton proceeded to check-call bets on both fifth and sixth before leading out on seventh. Baker made the call but mucked when Ashton indicated he had a flush and tabled the    .

Miller took one last look at his down cards (   ) and then sent them to the muck before taking his leave in 14th place for $13,877.

Brian Hastings Eliminated in 16th Place ($11,528); Eli Elezra in 15th Place ($11,528)

Eli Elezra - 15th Place; Brian Hastings - 16th Place

Eli Elezra:    /      /
Yuval Bronshtein:    /      /
Brian Hastings:    /      /
Gavin Smith:    /      /

We caught the action on fourth when Eli Elezra bet and received three calls. Both Elezra and a short-stacked Brian Hastings got all in on fifth, meaning there was side action between Yuval Bronshtein and Gavin Smith headed to sixth. The latter ended up calling a bet from the former, and then Bronshtein check-called a bet of seventh.

Elezra:
Smith:
Bronshtein:
Hastings: Muck

Smith made a straight on seventh to claim the high, and Bronshtein's seven-six was good for the low. Both Elezra and Hastings were eliminated on the hand, and since the latter was the shorter stack he was awarded 16th place while the former took 15th.

Joe Tehan Eliminated in 17th Place ($9,583)

Joe Tehan - 17th Place

David "Bakes" Baker:    /       /
Joe Tehan:    / [djs9d2d] /

We caught the action on fourth when betting was capped and Joe Tehan was all in for his last 52,000.

Tehan:
Baker:

Tehan got it in with jacks, but he needed some help as Baker had him with a pair of aces. Neither fourth nor sixth helped Tehan, which meant he needed to catch on seventh to stay alive. Baker looked first and revealed the  , meaning the aces and eights he hit on sixth were the best hand. Tehan could still win with either a diamond or jack on the river, but he must not have received either as he squeezed out his card and then sent his hand to the muck.

With that, we're down to the final 16, which means it's time for the two-table redraw.

Timothy Finne Eliminated in 18th Place ($9,583)

Timothy Finne - 18th Place

Timothy Finne:    /      /
Yuval Bronshtein:    /      /

The chips are flying with each and every hand, and no one's stack has went up and down more than Timothy Finne's. Unfortunately it just went down for the last time courtesy of Yuval Bronshtein.

It happened when the duo engaged in a raising war on third that resulted in Finne getting the last of his chips in. The cards were run out, and in the end, Finne ended up with jacks and eights, which were no good against Bronshtein's queens and nines.

Finne exited in 18th place for $9,583.

From 2K to 155K in 10 Minutes

Tony Cousineau:    /      /
Yuval Bronshtein:    /      /

About ten minutes ago Tony Cousineau was down to 2,000, three-quarters of which went to the ante. Incredibly, he has worked that back up to 155,000!

In a recent hand, Cousineau and Yuval Bronshtein capped it on third for 30,000 apiece. Bronshtein then check-called a bet on fourth before leading out in fifth. Cousineau raised, Bronshtein reraise and Cousineau called off his remaining chips.

"You rolled up?" Bronshtein asked.

"Yeah," was the reply as Cousineau tabled the   . Bronshtein then showed   .

Sixth street was of no consequence, and Cousineau's   on seventh didn't improve him. Bronshtein could still eliminated his opponent with either an ace or six on the river, but it wasn't in the cards as he received the   on seventh. Ship the double to Cousineau.

Will Thompson Eliminated in 19th Place ($9,583)

Will Thompson - 18th Place

As we were busy capturing Tony Cousineau's up-and-down ride, Will Thompson was eliminated from the tournament. Thompson started the day in decent shape but only dwindled here in Level 19.

We don't have too many details on his demise, but we do know that Thompson, who hails from Toms River, New Jersey, was eliminated by "Crazy" Marco Johnson.

Cousineau Crippled then Rebounds

Tony Cousineau:    /      /
Brian Hastings:    /      /

Capped betting on third resulted in Tony Cousineau being all in holding    against the    of Brian Hastings. The board ran out as listed above, Cousineau took the   on seventh and Hastings the  .

Cousineau missed his low draw and Hastings took down the pot with a full house.

After losing that hand, Cousineau went on to double two times in a row and is back up to 27,000.

Hastings Takes a Big Hit

Timothy Finne:    /      /
Brian Hastings:    /      /

Timothy Finne tossed out a bet on fourth street only to have Brian Hastings raise. Finne made the call and then raised when Hastings bet fifth. Hastings pushed back with a reraise and Finne called off his remaining chips.

Sixth street was gin for Finne as it gave him a straight to go with his low. Hastings was unable to improve on either sixth or seventh and Finne scooped the pot.

Tony Cousineau:    /      /
Eric Rodawig:    /      /

After Eric Rodawig brought it in with the  , Timothy Finne completed and Tony Cousineau raised. Rodwig called, as did Finne, and it was three-way action to fourth. Cousineau was first to act and bet all in for his last 500. Two called were made and then Finne called a bet from Rodawg on fifth.

Both players checked sixth, and then Finne folded to a bet from Rodawig on seventh.

Rodawig:
Cousineau:

Cousineau stayed alive by winning the high with a pair of fives while Rodawig took the low with a seven-six.

Cousineau Folds to a Bet of 1,000

Tony Cousineau:    /      /
Brian Hastings:    /      /

We picked up action on sixth street when Brian Hastings, who was showing a pair of aces, bet and Tony Cousineau called. Hastings only had a single orange T1,000 chip behind and bet it in the dark. Cousineau looked down at his last card, said he couldn't beat anything and flashed the   before folding.

Hastings then flashed the   and sent the rest of his hand to the muck unseen.

Aces Up for Rodawig

Timothy Finne:    /      /
Eric Rodawig:    /      /

We caught the action on fourth when Eric Rodawig bet 6,000 and Timothy Finne called. Rodawig then check-called a bet of 12,000 on fifth before checking for a second time on sixth. Finne bet another 12,000, and this time Rodawig woke up with a check-raise to 24,000. Finne not only called that bet, but called one on seventh as well.

"Aces up," Rodawig said and tabled the    . Finne didn't look too happy and indicated he had kings up before mucking his hand.

Ognjen Sekularac Eliminated in 20th Place ($9,583)

Ognjen Sekularac - 20th Place

The cards were barely flying before we had our first elimination of the day. Unfortunately it happened before we even made our way to the tournament floor, so we don't have all the details. What we do know is that Ognjen Sekularac, who began the day as the short stack, was sent to the rail by Mike Leah. Sekularac will take home $9,583 for his 20th-place finish.

Which Story Line will Come to Fruition on Day Three?

Eric Rodawig looks to capture the title once again.

There are many questions entering the third and final day of the 2013 World Series of Poker Event #13: $5,000 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better. Will chip leader Yuval Bronshtein win his long-overdue first gold bracelet? Can Eric Rodawig repeat his success from two years ago when he this event for $442,183 by defeating Phil Hellmuth in heads-up play? Or will a fan favorite like Gavin Smith, Eli Elezra or Mike "The Mouth" Matusow take it down?

Of course those aren't the only story lines to follow. Tony Cousineau looks to break his infamous streak of 54 cashes (now 55) without a bracelet, though he'll have to do it as one of the short stacks. Similarly, respect Las Vegas cash-game player "Crazy" Marco Johnson is looking for his first gold bracelet, something that would no doubt establish him as more than adept at both cash games and tournaments. The same can be said for online pro Brian Hastings.

Just how well these players do, and how much they take home, remains to be seen.

Late last night we hit the money and saw just four players leave with a payday: Sam Feinberg (24th), Tom Schneider (23rd), Eugene Katchalov (22nd) and Francis Mariani (21st).

The final 20 players will return to action at 2 p.m. PDT, which is about an hour from now. We'll be on hand to bring you all the action and eliminations on the way to crowning a Event #13: $5,000 Seven-Card Stud Hi-Low 8-or-Better champion and awarding the $266,503 first-place prize, so be sure to join us then.
