Brent Wheeler raised under the gun, and William James made it three bets on the button. Wheeler bumped it to four, and James put in the last raise to force Wheeler all in.


Nothing higher than a nine hit the board, and Wheeler doubled up.

Ogus Down, Ogus Chops

Three bets a piece went in preflop between John Zipperer, Aaron Ogus, and Grayson Scoggin. Zipperer checked on a flop of    , Ogus bet, and Scoggin raised. Only Ogus called.

Ogus check-called another bet when the   turned, the check-folded to a third bet when the   completed the board, showing the   .

The very next hand, Ogus raised from under the gun. Scoggin three-bet on his direct left, Mark Mierkalns cold-called in the small blind, and Ogus made it four bets. Both Scoggin and Mierkalns called.

The flop came    , Mierkalns let out, Ogus quickly raised, Scoggin folded, and Mierkalns made it three bets. Ogus made it four bets, and Mierkalns called.

Both players checked when the   turned, and then they shot the lights out when the   completed the board, betting back and forth until Ogus was all in. The two then showed ace-king, Ogus    and Mierkalns   , chopping the pot.

Three Streets of Value for Queen

Aaron Ogus raised in late position, Alex Queen three-bet out of the blinds, and Ogus called. Queen then bet out on every street as the board came      , and Ogus called him down.

Ogus then folded when Queen tabled    for a full house.

"Wow!" Ogus exclaimed at the sight of Queen's cards.

Zipperer Quadruples

Mark Mierkalns opened for a raise in the cutoff, and John Zipperer put his last 17,000 in on the button. Aaron Ogus and Grayson Scoggin called from the blinds, and Mierkalns tossed in an orange to put Zipperer at risk.

Mierkalns mucked his hand when he saw the jacks, and Zipperer survived once more.

A Double and a Triple

Brent Wheeler raised in late position, and Brian Nichols and William James called out of the blinds. The flop came    , the action checked to Wheeler who went all in for less than a bet, and only James called.


James was drawing to any king, ten, or diamond, but the turn and river bricked  ,   respectively, doubling Wheeler to 60,000.

Over on the other table, after failing to run a bluff against Mark Mierkalns, John Zipperer was down to just 15,000. He moved all in, Grayson Scoggin and Ahmed Mohamed called from the blinds, and checked it down as the board came      . We missed Scoggin's hand, but Mohamed showed    for a pair of tens. Zipperer had the best hand with   , however, and tripled up.

James Doubles Through Obi

William James raised it up in the cutoff, and Chiduziem Obi defended his big blind.

The dealer rolled out     for the flop, and Obi check-raised. James made the call. The turn brought a  , and Obi continued firing. James raised him though, and Obi came back with three bets to put James all in. "Wow," Obi said as James rolled over his hand.


Obi needed the last king in the deck, but the   came on the river, allowing James to double through.
