Hand #6: Grayson Scoggin got a walk

Hand #7: Malissia Zapata raised, Alex Queen reraised, Zapata called. The flop came    , and Zapata led out and was called. She check-raised the   turn and was called. She check the   river and Queen checked. Zapata showed   .

Hand #8: Mark Mierkalns raised, everyone else folded.

Hand #9: Zapata raised, Brian Nichols reraised, and Zapata reraised. Nichols called. The flop came    . Nichols check-called. He did the same on a   turn, then check-folded the   river.

Malissia Zapata raised from under the gun, Ahmed Mohamed three-bet on the button, leaving just 2,000 behind, and Zapata put him all in. He called.


It was a race, and unfortunately for Mohamed he never caught up as the board came      . He is eliminated in 10th place, and we are now down to an official final table of nine.

Malissia Zapata and Eric Froehlich were heads up in a pot, and Zapata check-raised after     flopped. Froehlich made the call. The turn came  , and both players checked. Zapata again checked on a   river, and Froehlich bet. Zapata called.


Zapata had flopped a flush, but the turn had given Froehlich a higher flush.

Mark Mierkalns raised from the cutoff, Aaron Ogus three-bet on the button, and Grayson Scoggin made it four bets from the small blind. Mierkalns called, as did Ogus.

The flop came    , and Scoggin bet. Mierkalns got out of the way, and Ogus raised. Scoggin reraised to put Ogus all in, and Ogus called.


Ogus was drawing nearly dead, and the   on the turn finished him off. A   came on the river to complete Ogus' set, but it was far too little, far too late.

The players have now condensed to the unofficial final table of ten.

Mark Mierkalns led out on every street as the board came      , and Aaron Ogus look him up every time. The Canadian ripped over    after Ogus called the last bet, and Ogus tossed his cards into the muck.
