Hands 99-101: Bennington Building

Hand #99: Chen raised his button to 400,000 and was called in two spots, by Gray in small blind and Liberto in the big. A flop of     prompted Gray and Liberto to check, but Chen continued with a bet of 450,000. Gray flatted and Liberto folded, bringing the   on turn. Both players checked, and did so again on the   river. Opening    for top pair, Gray took the pot down.

Hand #100: Chen raised again, this time opening to 400,000 from under the gun. In the small blind, Liberto three-bet to 945,000, a move which was met by a four-bet to 1.7 million. Liberto flat-called this large bet and we saw a flop of     appear. Despite the aggressive preflop action, however, both players checked the flop and the   came on the turn. Two more checks later, the   completed the board, and Liberto led out for a bet of 1.5 million. Chen couldn't stand the heat, so he got out of the kitchen with a quick fold.

Hand #101: Gray opened for 550,000 from under the gun, and Bennington flatted in the small blind to see a flop of     arrive. After the river delivered the  , Bennington moved all-in for 1.85 million, causing Gray to tank for a minute or two before ultimately making the call. Bennington rolled over the    for trip kings, top kicker, and big slick proved to be enough.

Hands 96-98: Gray Spikes River to Double Through Liberto

Hand #96: From the cutoff, Chen popped it to 400,000, and Liberto and Bennington called out of the blinds. The flop of     caused Liberto and Bennington to check, and Chen took the lead in the hand with a bet of 550,000, which was enought to force the folds.

Hand #97: Liberto raised his button to 420,000 and Chen defended his big blind to bring a flop of     on board. Both players checked and we saw the   arrive on the turn. Chen led out for 400,000 and Liberto flatted, which brought us to the   on the river. After Chen tapped the table, Liberto slid forward towers of chips totaling 2 million, and despite mulling his options for a minute or so, Chen released his hands.

Hand #98: Liberto opened for the standard 420,000 in the cutoff, and Gray responded with a three-bet shove from the big blind, putting his last 2.64 million at risk. Liberto looked him up with   , and his premium pocket pair had Gray's    in bad shape, The inferior hand improved on the     flop, but the turn of   brought no further help. It would be an   on the river that did the job, giving Gray two pair and a come from behind double up.
