Ian Matakis

On the first hand of the final table, Jonas Kronwitter raised to 650,000 from under the gun and Jesse Lonis called in the cutoff. Ian Matakis then moved all in from the small blind for 975,000 and both opponents called.

Lonis and Kronwitter checked down the       board. "Ace-four," Lonis said, opening up     . Kronwitter mucked and Matakis showed      before making his exit as the first casualty of the final table.

Elias Harala slid forward two stacks of green 25,000 chips for a raise to 1,050,000 from under the gun before small blind Ian Matakis shoved in the small blind.

Anthony Marsico was being eliminated on the other table at the same time and Harala confirmed that he had made the pay jump before calling for his last 450,000.

Anthony Marsico Eliminated in 10th Place ($157,963)

Anthony Marsico

One hand after losing a pot to chip leader Tyler Smith, Jonas Kronwitter was in the big blind. He faced the open raise of table short stack Anthony Marsico from under the gun. It folded to Kronwitter and he opted to call, which led to the     flop.

Kronwitter pushed all in and Marsico called for the 1,275,000 he had behind.

Anthony Marsico:
Jonas Kronwitter:

"We are ahead," Kronwitter told his rail and that remained to be the case on the   turn and   river as the unofficial final table was set.

Haxton Picks His Spot

Isaac Haxton

Isaac Haxton raised to 1,050,000 from under the gun, leaving himself 100,000 behind, before Elias Harala reraised to 2,550,000 in the cutoff. Ian Matakis took his full 30 seconds in the big blind before folding, while Haxton also took 30 seconds before he threw in his last chips.

Isaac Haxton:
Elias Harala:

"Not ideal," Haxton said upon seeing Harala's hand. The board, though, came       and Haxton made a straight to double up.

Lonis Takes One, Hendrix Takes Another

Jesse Lonis raised to 1,050,000 from under the gun as action folded around to Adam Hendrix in the big blind.

"Iceman. I got you this far. I want us to go heads-up," Lonis told him as Hendrix took a sip of his Starbucks cup before folding.

The next hand, Hendrix limped in from the small blind and Lonis checked. The flop came     and Hendrix led out for 300,000. Lonis quickly mucked.

"Gave you a free look," Hendrix joked with Lonis.

Three-Way Pot for Smith

Tyler Smith raised to 800,000 in the cutoff and Jonas Kronwitter checked his stack carefully while on the button, using one time bank extension before calling. James Park also called out of the big blind and checked the     flop.

Smith bet 1,400,000 and dragged in the pot after two quick folds by his opponents.

Just One Flop in Sight

Tyler Smith raised to 800,000 in the cutoff and James Park called out of the big blind. On a     flop, Park checked and then folded when Smith continued for 800,000.

"I misread my cards. I would still call preflop but it was three clubs, not two spades," Park mentioned.

Jonas Kronwitter then got through with a raise to 750,000 before Anthony Marsico stole the blinds by raising to 1,000,000. Park got the blinds and big blind ante back with a cutoff raise to 800,000, too.

Danny Hannawa defended the big blind against an under-the-gun raise by Tyler Smith and bet the pot on the     flop to force out Smith.

Hendrix Stops Lonis' Rise

Jesse Lonis raised to 800,000 from under the gun and Adam Hendrix called from the big blind.

The flop came     and Hendrix checked over to Lonis, who potted to 2,000,000. Hendrix tanked for a moment before calling off his last 925,000.

Park Chips Up; Marsico Doubles

Jonas Kronwitter stole the blinds with a raise from under the gun and then lost the profit when James Park raised the pot in the cutoff for 750,000 in the last hand of the previous level. Kronwitter defended the big blind and they checked it down on the       board.

Kronwitter announced a flush but Park's      represented the nut flush.

Tyler Smith then raised to 700,000 on the button in the new level and called the all-in of Anthony Marsico for just 1,375,000 in the big blind.

Anthony Marsico went through the blinds once again and his stack was reduced further. It then folded to James Park in the small blind and he inquired about the stack size of Danny Hannawa in the big blind.

Park used one time bank extension preflop before raising to 750,000, picking up a call by Hannawa. On the     flop, Park continued for 350,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Lonis Ramps Up Aggression

Jesse Lonis has been incredibly aggressive so far on Day 3, opening most pots and taking them down with little resistance from his tablemates.

In a recent hand, he raised to 875,000 and received no callers as he showed   . He then raised to 700,000 the next hand and again took the pot as he has added more than 4,000,000 to his stack so far today without a showdown.

Kabeelan Rajamurthy Eliminated in 11th Place ($157,963)

Kabeelan Rajamurthy

Danny Hannawa raised to 750,000 in the cutoff one hand after Kabeelan Rajamurthy had seen his stack reduced and was in the big blind. Tyler Smith reraised to 2,100,000 on the button and Rajamurthy called all-in for just shy of that out of the big blind, while Hannawa folded.

Kabeelan Rajamurthy:
Tyler Smith:

"Ace ace king king double suit? Wow what a find," Jonas Kronwitter exclaimed in table chat while Rajamurthy pointed towards Smith's cards and that a win was not guaranteed by any means.

Sure enough, Smith flopped a set on the     flop and took the lead. Rajamurthy needed spades, an ace or a king but found neither on the   turn and   river. Smith won the pot with a straight and Rajamurthy bowed out in 11th place.
