Ryan Leng raised the small blind and Dan Cates called from the big blind. Leng took one while Cates took three new cards. Leng then bet and Cates called. Both players discarded one and Leng check-raised for Cates to come along. The final draw was patted and Leng checked.

Cates check-called with the lead on fourth and fifth, then bet sixth when Leng checked his pair of sevens and subsequently check-called. Leng also check-called seventh and the cards of Cates were not shown as Leng tabled     for jacks and sevens as the winning hand.

Cates won some chips back the next hand as Leng and Cates earned most of the pots while Paul Volpe dropped further back.
