'Randyk86' Adds to the Chip Lead

A player in early position opened to 7,800 and 'Randyk86' defended their big blind. After a     flop was delivered, 'Randyk86' check-raised a bet of 7,800 to 19,220, and their opponent called.

The   fell on the turn and both players checked to see the   complete the board. 'Randyk86' shoved for effectively 65,000 and their opponent quickly folded.

The player on the button opened to 5,600 only to see 'fortnite' three-bet to 17,450 out of the small blind. The player on the button made the call and a     flop was dealt.

'fortnite' fired a bet worth 12,107 and took down the pot.

'Justanenigma' Cracks Aces to Double

The action folded all the way around to 'Justanenigma' in the small blind who limped. 'Volerz' sat in the big blind and raised it up to 5,200. 'Justanenigma' three-bet shoved for $55,955 and 'Volerz' snap-called.

'Justanenigma' was in a world of hurt, but poker is a funny game. The first three cards were the     which had 'Justanenigma' drawing to only running diamonds or running threes.

The   on the turn squashed the threes but added nine more outs to the mix. The   peeled off on the river and the suck-out was successful, cracking aces to double up.

Halfway to the Money

The field currently sits 360-players strong, which means they are halfway to the money. Just 180 players will walk away with the prize, and though some may have fired multiple bullets, anyone who has not will get at least double their money back.

'ParTee' opened to 2,000 from the cutoff and the player on the button flatted. 'Tommy_Nubs' three-bet jammed out of the small blind having both opponents covered but 'ParTee' stuck around putting themself at risk.

Record-Setting Field Chases a $238,778 Top Prize

The largest WSOP.com Online No-Limit Hold'em Championship was set this evening with a total of 1,635 entries gathered from 1,180 unique players and 455 reentries.

A prize pool worth $1,553,250 was created with the top 180 players walking away with a prize.

Anyone making the money is guaranteed at least $2,174. Making the final table will bank a player at least $20,968 with the eventual champion taking home a shiny, new WSOP gold bracelet and a top prize worth $238,778.

2017 Field Crushed; 1,499 and Climbing

With the addition of the WSOP New Jersey players to this year's online bracelet events, it was already a forgone conclusion that this year's online fields would benefit. They have. Greatly.

With about 30 minutes left until registration closes, the 2017 mark of 1,312 has already been shattered. A total of 1,499 entries have accumulated so far and will only grow as the field gets closer to the end of registration.

After an open to 875 from the player on the button, 'DavidMcGowan' three-bet to 2,450 and his opponent made the call.

The flop came down     and 'DavidMcGowan' check-called a bet worth 2,782. Both players checked the   on the turn and again when the   hit the river.

Just over two hours into the WSOP.com Online Championship, the field has reached 1,000 unique players. The total entries have climbed to 1,129 with 129 rebuys and a little under two hours left in late registration.

There are 909 players remaining.

'estudiante' opened to 368 from early position and a player in middle position flatted. 'KaiRolla' three-bet to 1,350 out of the small blind and 'estudiante' made the call with the middle position player folding.

A     flop fanned out and 'estudiante' called a bet of 1,135 from 'KaiRolla'. The   hit the turn and both players checked to see the   on the river.

The Action is Underway

The Online No-Limit Hold'em Championship is underway as the virtual cards have hit the tables. The tournament lobby displayed 351 entries to kick things off but in just the amount of time it took to write this, the field is already up to 401.

The WSOP.com Online No-Limit Hold'em Championship Kicks Off at 3:30 p.m.

2017 Champion Nipun "Javatinii" Java

The most prestigious title of the WSOP.com online felt will be up for grabs on Friday as Event #61: $1,000 WSOP.com ONLINE No-Limit Hold'em Championship of the 2018 World Series of Poker kicks off at 3:30 p.m. local time in Las Vegas.

The unlimited re-entry, single-day event features a 15,000 chip starting stack and 20-minute blind levels. Late registration will remain open for the first four hours, closing at approximately 7:30 p.m. The event may be played on desktop or mobile clients but WSOP.com tournament tickets may not be used for re-entries. There will be a 5-minute break every 55 minutes past the hour.

In 2017, Nipun "Javatinii" Java bested a field of 1,312 entries defeating Jason "jadedjason" James heads-up to claim a top prize worth $237,668 and his second bracelet of the 2017 World Series. Java joined 2016 online champ Clayton Maguire as the holders of the virtual championship bracelet winners.
