Hands #141-146: Laka Gets Value from Second Pair

Hand #141: David Laka shoved out of the small blind for 1.7 million effective and Eric Blair folded.

Hand #142: Laka raised to 200,000 on the button and took down the pot preflop.

Hand #143: Laka received a walk.

Hand #144: Jeremy Wien made it 275,000 on the button and Eric Blair called in the big blind. Both players quickly checked all the streets of the       board and Wien won the pot with   .

Hand #145: Laka opened to 200,000 and Wien defended his big. They checked the     flop and Wien led out 225,000 on the   turn. Laka called to see the   complete the board. Wien slowed down with a check and Laka fired 675,000. Wien took his time but eventually pulled off a call.

Hands #132-134: All In and a Call... and a Chop

Hand #132: David Laka raised to 250,000 in the small blind and Eric Blair was interested in seeing the     flop. But the texture didn't please him and he folded to Laka's 275,000-chip continuation-bet.

Hand #133: Blair limped in from the small blind and Jeremy Wien pumped it to 275,000. Blair folded.

Hand #134: Blair raised all in on the button for 1.77 million and Jeremy Wien re-shoved. Laka paved way for a heads-up contest.

Wien Gets a Big Double

Hand #131: Jeremy Wien completed the small blind and David Laka raised all in for the rest of Wein's 1,600,000 from the big blind with Wien making the call immediately.

Hands #126-130: Three Shoves from Wien

Hand #126: Jeremy Wien moved all in and both of his rivals folded.

Hand #127: David Laka made it 200,000 and Jeremy Wien called out of the big blind. Laka checked back the     flop and called when Wien led out 275,000 on the   turn.

The   river filled a flush draw and made it a four-to-a-straight board. Laka used it to his advantage and fired 775,000 in position. Wien check-folded.

Hand #128: Wien shoved in the small blind and Laka folded.

Hand #129: Wien pushed all in again and took it down pre.

Hand #130: Laka raised to 200,000 and Eric Blair three-bet shoved for 1.82 million. Laka let it go.

Hand #123: David Laka raised to 300,000 in the small blind and Eric Blair defended the big blind. They saw a flop of     Laka bet 300,000 and Blair folded.

Hands #118-120: Blair Doubles with Aces

Hand #118: David Laka opened the button to 200,000 and found no resistance.

Hand #119: Laka received a walk.

Hand #120: Jeremy Wien raised to 250,000 and short-stacked Eric Blair defended his big. The cards went on their backs shortly as Blair quickly check-snap-called all in on the     flop, having flatted aces preflop. Wien flopped top pair, top kicker with    but he couldn't crack the    as the   turn and   river stayed with Blair. Wien shipped him 910,000 and dropped to the shortest stack.

Hand #112: Eric Blair attempted to limp in from the small blind with Jeremy Wien raised all in for 2,160,000 and Blair folded.

Hand #113: Jeremy Wien completed the small blind with David Laka checking his option in the big blind.
They saw a flop of     and Wien bet 225,000 with Laka folding.

Hand #114: Jeremy Wien opened to 205,000 on the button and David Laka three-bet to 625,000 in the small blind. Wien then four-bet jammed for 2,480,000 and Laka conceded his hand to the muck.

Hand #102: David Laka raised to 240,000 in the small blind and Eric Blair defended his big. They saw the     hit the felt and Laka scooped the pot with a bet of 180,000.

Hand #101: Eric Blair opened to 200,000 in the cutoff with Jeremy Wien calling the button. Jake Schindler then three-bet all in for 1,140,000 from the small blind. David Laka four-bet all in 3,850,000 with Blair folding and the two went heads up with no more action.

Blair Puts on Pressure

Hand #97: Eric Blair opened to 200,000 from under the gun and David Laka defended the big blind.

They saw a flop of    . Laka checked and faced a bet of 275,000 from Blair. Laka called and they saw a turn card.

The turn of a   saw action check through. On the   river, Laka lead into Blair for 275,000 with Blair releasing his hand into the muck shortly after.

Hand #98: Jeremy Wien limped from the cutoff with Jake Schindler raising to 275,000 on the button. Eric Blair then put in a three-bet from the big blind to 850,000, drawing folds from both Wien and Schindler and collecting the pot.

Hand #99: Eric Blair opened to 280,00 in the small blind with Jeremy Wien putting in a three-bet to 600,00. Blair decided on a four-bet all in for Wien's remaining 2,800,000 and Wien quickly folded.

Hand #100: David Laka opened to 200,000 and took it down uncontested.

Hand #90: Shawn Buchanan opened to 160,000 on the cutoff with David Laka putting in a three-bet to 400,000 on the button. It folded back to Buchanan who took a few seconds before shoving all in for 2,030,000 with Laka calling instantly for his remaining 1,630,000.
