When we arrived at Joseph Cheong's table, he was involved in a hand with two opponents and it was already on the turn of a      board. Cheong was on the button and at this point, the first player to act checked. The next player, from the hijack, also checked and it was on to Cheong who bet 1,775. The next player folded his hand and the hijack moved all in, with Cheong having the player covered by a small amount. Cheong splashed out a call and the two players turned their hands over.

A player in middle position opened to 600 and Tristan Wade three-bet him to 1,400 from the cutoff. Everyone else folded back around to the original raiser, who made the call.

The flop came     and Wade's opponent check-called a 1,525 bet from Wade. Both players then proceeded to check down the   turn and   river. Wade's opponent flipped over    for a pair of fives and it was good, as Wade mucked without showing.

Wade is sitting on 34,500 after that one.

Eric Wasserson, who recently moved to the Purple Section of the Amazon Room, raised in late position, and Jeremy Allen defended from the blinds. Allen checked before the flop fell    , and Wasserson checked behind.

The   turned, and Allen immediately fired 1,200. Wasserson called.

Before the   hit the felt on the river, Allen announced, "thirty-one." He then tossed out three yellow T1,000 chips and a single black T100 chip, and Wasserson went into the tank. He eventually folded, and Allen stood up.

"I'll show ya once," he announced, tabling   .

The dealer quickly mucked his hand, and Wasserson had to ask a tablemate what it was. Allen has dipped a little since dinner break, but he's still sitting pretty with about 500 big blinds.

We caught up with the action just as the dealer was dealing the flop. It appeared that Viktor Blom opened from the cutoff and was three-bet by his opponent on the button. Blom made the call for a heads-up pot.

The flop came     and Blom check-called a 1,500 bet from his opponent.

The   fell on the turn and this time Blom led out for 3,250. His opponent tanked a bit, but eventually tossed a single 5,000-denomination chip into the middle for a call.

The   completed the board and Blom cut out a bet to 10,600 and tossed it into the middle. His opponent folded after some thought and Blom scooped the pot.

Blom is up to 39,000.

A player raised it up to 600 and action folded around to the blinds. Matt Savage called from the small blind and Michael Weiss called from the big.

The flop came     causing both blinds to check. The middle position player continued for 750. Savage made the call while Weiss got out of the way.

The   on the turn brought more of the same with Savage check-calling a bet, this time for 2,100.

The   on the river saw a third check from Savage. The middle position player struggled for a check. Savage announced "ace" and the middle position player threw his cards in the muck. Savage eventually flipped over his cards and revealed   .
