On the next hand, action folded to Ivey in the hijack seat and he raised again. In the cutoff seat was Samuel Golbuff and he reraised. Play folded back to Ivey and he called.
After the flop, Ivey check-folded to a bet from Golbuff.

Action folded around the table to Samuel Golbuff in the small blind and he raised to 16,000. Brent Wheeler three-bet from the big blind to 52,000 and Golbuff gave it up.

Action folded to Michael Gathy on the button and he put in a raise to 17,000. In the small blind, Joep van den Bijgaart made the call and then Erik Cajelais called from the big blind.
The three players saw the flop come down and van den Bijgaart checked. Cajelais bet 28,000 and Gathy made the call. Van den Bijgaart also called.
With all three players still in on the turn, action was checked around. Then, the landed on the river to complete the board. Van den Bijgaart checked and Cajelais bet 90,000. Gathy gave it up, but van den Bijgaart made the call.
Cajelais turned over the for a straight to the king and van den Bijgaart mucked his hand.

From under the gun, Erik Cajelais raised to 16,000. Action folded to Salman Behbehani on the button and he reraised to 43,000. After the blinds folded, Cajelais also gave it up and Behbehani won the pot.

Action folded over to Samuel Golbuff on the button, who min-raised to 16,000. Directly behind him, Brent Wheeler moved all-in for his last 178,000 from the small blind. Chris Tryba folded the big blind and Golbuff tanked, but eventually announced, "Call," to put Wheeler at risk.

The first four cards ran out and Wheeler got up from his seat as if he were ready to leave. However, the fell on the river, giving Wheeler a pair of aces on the river for the double up.

On the first hand of the final table, Chris Tryba had the button and Erik Cajelais opened with a raise to 16,000 from middle position. Everyone folded and Cajelais won the pot.
On the next hand, Cajelais opened again to 16,000, this time from the under-the-gun-plus-one position. Action folded to Tryba in the cutoff seat and he flat-called. In the small blind, Michael Foti reraised all in for 95,000 total. Cajelais reshoved and Tryba folded.
Cajelais showed the and was dominating the for the at-risk Foti.
The board came down and Foti was eliminated in ninth place. He earned $16,692 for his finish.

Good afternoon and welcome back to Event 35: $2,500 Mixed Hold'em! Two days ago, 393 hopefuls registered in hopes of proving their Texas Hold'em prowess and claiming a World Series of Poker gold bracelet. Today, only nine players remain in a final table that will surely be watched closely by the poker world.
Best positioned to take down the final table going into Day 3 is chip-leader Joep van den Bijgaart with 605,000. However, all eyes are sure to be on Phil Ivey (169,000), who will competing in his fifth final table at this year's WSOP alone. Ivey's motivation to finally take down an event this year will surely be higher than ever considering how many times he was just an arm's-length away from victory.
Similarly impressive is Michael Gathy, who will be coming into today's final table fourth in chips with 418,000. Unlike Ivey, who has had several near-misses this year, Gathy claimed a WSOP bracelet just one week ago in Event 21: $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em.
