Elky Grospellier - looking for his second World Series of Poker Bracelet

Welcome back to the Amazon Room for Day 3 of Event 23: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Six-Handed! The plan for this final and glorious Day 3 is to have our remaining 18 players duke it out until just one – our champion – remains!

Leading the pack into today is Artem Metalidi, who managed to bag a staggering 1,505,000 yesterday. The only other player starting today who has a seven-figure stack is Luis Rodriguez Cruz with 1,005,000.

Our remaining field is, well, pretty sick. Some names still in contention include Eugene Katchalov, Bertrand Grospellier, Scott Montgomery, Andrew Lichtenberger and Freddy Deeb . Combined, those names alone have over $25 million in live-tournament winnings....yeah.

With so much talent remaining in a six-handed event, you can bet we won't be seeing much traditional ABC poker! Stick with us here at PokerNews as play is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM local time.
