Justin McGill opened to 100,000 under the gun, and Cliff Goldkind flatted from the next seat over. Two seats further, Gregg Wilkinson found a squeezing hand, and he reraised all in for 670,000 total. McGill moved all in just as quickly, Goldkind folded, and the cards were tabled.

Showdown
McGill:
Wilkinson:

The   appeared right in the window, and that was a fine sight for Wilkinson. The board ended up showing           by the river, and Wilkinson took a lap around the rail for a few friendly high-fives.

Justin McGill came into the pot with a raise to 65,000, and Gregg Wilkinson made a three-bet to 155,000 total. The action wasn't done yet, though, as Patrick Smith four-bet shoved from the big blind. It was just over 400,000 total, and that was too much for McGill. Wilkinson liked the price he was getting, though, and he made the call with a chance at the knockout.

Showdown
Wilkinson:
Smith:

The board came          , and Smith's hand held. With the win comes a much needed double, and Smith is back in the game.

There's a break approaching, and we'll get a full set of chip counts for you then.

David Peters raised to 60,000 from early position and it folded around to Cliff Goldkind, who three-bet to 270,000 from the button. When action came around to Gregg Wilkinson in the big blind, he moved all in for just over 800,000. Peters quickly folded and, after a short time in the tank, Goldkind released. Wilkinson is back above the 1 million-chip mark.

Gary Burks - 9th place

Wow. We've just had our two chip leaders play a huge all-in pot. it began with Gregg Wilkinson opening with a raise in early position, and Gary Burks three-bet to 190,000. Action came to Cliff Goldkind in the big blind, and he made a cold four-bet to 420,000 straight. That folded Wilkinson, but Burks wasn't going anywhere. He declared his all in, and Goldkind snap-called with the biggest pot of the tournament on the line.

Showdown
Burks:
Goldkind:

Goldkind had it, and Burks was none too pleased. The       flop did give him a shot at making the winning trips, but he didn't look particularly confident that it was coming.

Turn:  !

Ka-boom. Goldkind spun away from the table in disgust, and Burks couldn't believe it either. He had caught lightning in a bottle, but now he needed to fade the diamonds and the case ace on the river. As it turned out, he could not.

The   dropped off the deck, and Goldkind and his pals burst into celebration. The diamond flush takes it, and Goldkind has added massively to his chip lead. When the stacks were counted down, Burks didn't have enough to pay the debt, and he's been sent to the rail in 9th place. That's good for a pay bump up over $40,000.

Gregg Wilkinson raised to open the pot, and Adria Balaguer defended his big blind.

The flop and turn came out         with the two men checking through. On the   river, Balaguer made a bet of 85,000 that was called. He showed up    , and that was the winner.

Monday, June 11, 2012 4:30 PM Local Time

Adria Balaguer raised to 60,000 from early position. Chip leader Gary Burks called from the cutoff and Justin McGill called from the button. Cliff Goldkind, however, had other plans. He three-bet to 250,000 from the small blind, which prompted folds from the big blind and Balaguer. Burks called and McGill snap-folded, and we were off to the flop.

Flop:

Goldkind led out for 300,000, leaving around 600,000 behind. Burks lined up three stacks of green 25,000-denomination chips before releasing, and Goldkind began stacking his new found chips. He is our new chip leader.

Ismael Bojang -- 10th place

Cliff Goldkind raised to 65,000 from under the gun and Ismael Bojang moved all in for 430,000 to his direct left. Action folded over to Gary Burks on the button, and Burks called for around half his stack. The blinds folded and Goldkind followed, leaving Bojang at risk of being the final table bubble boy.

Burks:
Bojang:

The dealer fanned a flop of    , giving Bojang the lead, but Burks picked up a flush draw. The   turn changed nothing, but the   river gave Burks the winner. Bojang shook the hands of his former tablemates as he made his way out of the final table arena.

The nine remaining players are taking a short break. See you in 10!

Jason Wheeler - 11th place

Under the gun, Jason Wheeler open-shoved his last ~500,000 into the pot. Next door, Justin McGill reraised all in himself, and the table quickly folded out of their way. Wheeler was at risk, and he was in bad shape as McGill rolled over a premium.

Showdown
Wheeler:
McGill:

The       flop was a start for Wheeler, but he still had some work to do to catch up. The turn   gave him another set of outs as the diamonds were now live for him. The river card was red, but the   was the wrong shade for Wheeler. Unable to overcome the hole he started in, his day has been cut short in 11th place.

Well, it didn't take Cliff Goldkind long to get his chips back. Goldkind opened with a preflop raise and Adria Balaguer moved all in, having Goldkind covered. Goldkind called for around 400,000 total, and the cards went on their backs.

Balaguer:
Goldkind:

Oops. Balaguer's light three-bet was picked off by Goldkind, but the Spaniard was still drawing live with his undercards. The       board gave Goldkind a bit of a sweat on the turn but he was able to secure the double with his trip queens. Balaguer, meanwhile, is among the short stacks after holding the chip lead less than an hour ago.

Barry Shulman raised to 60,000 under the gun, and the table folded all the way around to the big blind. There, Cliff Goldkind three-bet shoved, and Shulman quickly called all in for his last 499,000. He was well ahead.

Showdown
Shulman:
Goldkind:

The board ran out          , and the jacks hold.

"That's my Barry!" his wife screamed from the rail. Her Barry is now up over the million-chip mark.

Once he got the chip lead, Adria Balaguer switched into hyperdrive. He's been raising nearly every single pot to 48,000, but so far it's not been very productive. He's been played back at frequently, and his stack has dipped down to about 1.6 million. Barry Shulman has three-bet shoved on him once, and Gregg Wilkinson did it twice before he found that last double.
