Al "Sugar Bear" Barbieri raised from the cutoff and Glenn Engelbert defended from the big blind. The     flop saw Engelbert check-raise Barieri, who called. The   turn went bet and check, brining about the   river. This time Engelbert check-called a bet from Barbieri, but he was disgusted when the "Sugar Bear" turned over    for rivered Broadway.

That hand knocked Engelbert down to just 160,000, though his stack dwindled to just 80,000 a few hands later.

David Arsht raised in early position, and Al Barbieri defended his big blind. The flop came down    , and the fireworks went off. Barbieri bet out, and Arsht raised. Barbieri put in a third bet, and Arsht wasted little time in putting a fourth one out. Barbieri slammed the chips in for a call, and the turn was the  . From here, action slowed down. Barbieri check called a bet on the turn, and when the river came the  , both players checked.

Barbieri showed    for flopped two pair, and Arsht mucked his hand. After that pot, Barbieri creeped ahead of Arsht, as the two are the clear chip leaders five handed.

Ben Landowski

Ben Landowski's nightmare return from dinner break has come to an end. He entered the final table as the chip leader, but he went on a downward spiral in the last 30 minutes that has resulted in his elimination. Action started with Landowski, and he raised. Stephen Hung made it three bets in the big blind, and Landowski called. The flop came    , and Hung bet. Landowski immediately went all in, and Hung made the call.

Landowski:
Hung:

Landowski had flopped top pair, but it was no good, as Hung held an overpair. Landowski would need another jack, or running spades to win the pot. The turn was the  , and the river was the  . Landowski will take home just under $35,000 for his efforts, while Hung's stack rising up to 420,000.

Ben Landowski raised under the gun only to have David Arsht three-bet from the button. Both blinds got out of the way, Landowski called and it was heads-up action to the     flop. Landowski check-called a bet and then proceeded to do the same on the   turn and   river. Arsht rolled over    and it proved to be good as Landowski mucked, dropping to just 70,000 in the process.

On the very next hand, action folded to Donal Auger in the small blind and he raised. Landowski was in the big blind and three-bet all in with   . Auger made the call with    but was unable to catch as the board ran out      .

Ben Landowski started things out with a raise, and it folded to Stephen Hung. He put in a third bet, and Landowski called. The flop came down    , and Hung put in the rest of his chips. He had more then the 25,000 limit allowed, but it didn't matter to Landowski, as he quickly folded his hand. Hung had lost some chips before this hand, but now he's back up to 125,000.

Action started with Donald Auger, and he raised it up. Ben Landowski was next to act, and he put in a third bet. It folded back around to Auger, and he called. The flop came all jacks,    , and Auger bet out. Landowski beat him into the pot, and the exact same thing happened on the turn, the  , and the river, the  . When Auger was called on the river, he showed    for flopped quads, and Landowski chucked his cards into the muck.

After that hand, Auger is up to 605,000, while Landowski drops to 410,000.

Jeff Weiss

David Arsht put in a raise from middle position and was called by Jeff Weiss and Al Barbieri, who were in the small and big blinds respectively. Action then checked to Arsht on the     flop and he put out a bet. Weiss called off his last 7,000 while Barbieri got out of the way.

Arsht was in the lead with a pair of nine, but the   turn did give Weiss an open-ended straight draw headed to the river. "Here comes the king," Barbieri said. The dealer burned and put out paint, but it was the  . Weiss collected his things and made his way to the payout desk to collect $26,401 for his seventh-place finish.

Alexander Queen

Al Barbieri started the action by raising in the cutoff, and Alex Queen three bet on the button. It folded back to Barbieri, and he made the call. The flop came down    , and Barbieri check called a bet from Queen. The turn was the  , and Barbieri led out for 40,000. Queen had just a few thousand more, and he committed them to the pot. Barbieri called, and the cards were tabled.

Barbieri:
Queen:

The turn was a cooler card, as it gave Barbieri the straight, and Queen a set. Queen would need the board to pair to survive, but the river was the  . Queen will take home over $20,000 for his efforts, while Barbieri is now over 850,000.

Glenn Engelbert raised from middle position and was met with a three-bet by Al "Sugar Bear" Barbieri on the button. Stephen Hung then made the call from the big blind, Engelbert called the the extra bet, and it was three-way action to the     flop.

After they had both checked, Hung and Engelbert called a bet from Barbieri before all three checked the   turn. The   river saw it go check-check to Barbieri and he bet once again. This time both his opponents folded and he took down the pot without a showdown.

After the elimination of Lori Kirgan, play has slowed down immensely. There is no extreme short stack, and there is no dominant chip leader, so for many of the pots, the chips are simply being moved around the table.

Lori Kirgan

Lori Kirgan was hanging by a thread on the short stack for most of the past couple levels, and her luck has finally run out, as she is the first victim of the final table. Al Barbieri raised it up to 40,000, and it folded to Kirgan, who tossed in her last 38,000. Everyone else folded, and the cards were tabled.

Kirgan:
Barbieri:

The board ran out      , and Barbieri's straight was good enough to take the pot, and knock Kirgan out in 9th.

Ben Landowski raised from the cutoff and was met with a three-bet by Alex Queen in the big blind. Landowski made the call and then called a bet from Queen on the     flop. The   turn saw Queen bet, Landowski raise and Queen make the call.

Queen then check-called a bet on the   river, but mucked when Landowski revealed    for a pair of queens.

Action folded all the way around to David Arsht in the small blind, and he raised it up. Glenn Engelbert defended his big blind, and the flop came down    . Arsht led out, and Engelbert called. The turn brought the  , and Arsht bet out again, but this time, Engelbert raised. Arsht didn't slow down, putting out a third bet, and Engelbert called. The river was the  , and Arsht bet out one more time. Engelbert called, and could only shake his head when Arsht showed    for a flopped set.

That pot gives Arsht the chip lead with 670,000, and an interesting note is that while Arsht is the oldest player at the final table, he has been the most aggressive of anyone at the table. Arsht has been putting constant pressure on his opponent all day, and it's paying dividends for him now.

Donald Auger raised from middle position and cleared the field all the way around to the short stack, Lori Kirgan, in the big blind. She put in a three-bet and then bet the     flop after Auger called. The latter called that bet, but then he folded when Kirgan bet her last 22,000 on the   turn.
