Liv Boeree

The under-the-gun player limped and Liv Boeree raised to 500 from middle position. Action folded around to the player in the big blind, who called. The original limper came along as well.

The flop came     and both players checked to Boeree, who fired a 700 c-bet. The big blind player then raised to 2,200 and action folded back to Boeree, who thought for a bit and then mucked a   face up.

"I'll show one time," her opponent said as she tabled    for a flopped set.

Despite slipping to 5,100, Boeree cracked a smile knowing she made the right lay down.

Action folded to a short stack in the cutoff and she moved all in for 225. The small blind came along and Nancy Todd Tyner called the extra 25 from the big blind. The two active players proceeded to check down every street as the board ran out      .

Cutoff:
Tyner:

The kings and tens of Tyner were the best hand and she took down the small pot while eliminating an opponent. Tyner is sitting with around 4,000.

Lana O'Brien has now increased her stack to more than 11,000 after eliminating Jason Smith, one of the handful of male players that remain in this tournament.

All the money was in the middle before the flop; Smith had moved the last of his stack into the middle with    but O'Brien was well ahead holding   .

The dealer spread the board of       and the ladies gave him a send-off which we're sure is still ringing in his ears.

As another player said to our PokerNews reporter on the scene: "Let his Momma know what he's doin' today, 'cause if it was me, I'd be embarrassed!" Duly noted!

Popular poker media magnate and "Tina Fey of Poker" Jess Welman has been amongst the latest to have hit the rail.

As she recalled to us, in an earlier hand, she shoved from the small blind with    but her opponent held    which held up. Crippled down to less than 2,000, she got it in a short time later with    but failed to improve against another opponent's

Maria Mayrinck opened to 550 from middle position and Xuan Liu went all-in for her last 2,500 to her immediate left. Action folded back around to Mayrinck, who made the call.

Mayrinck:
Liu:

The board ran out       and Liu doubled. Mayrinck, on the other hand, has slipped to 3,000.

Yet another massive round of applause went up and we saw a burly figure in a bright red shirt bolt for the exits. As it turns out, he had his soul crushed by Erika Moutinko.

All the money was in the middle before the flop; the player who was getting in touch with his feminine side showed    but was in bad shape against Moutinko's   .

And just to make certain that he was gone for good, Moutinko improved to a set with another queen on the flop, them hit quads after the case queen spiked on the river! BOOM!

Moutinko is now up to more than 14,000 after that hand, but she'll have a long way to go if she wants to catch Linda McDonald, who now tops our counts with more than 23,000!

Up until this point, the Ladies Championship has been playing ten players to a table. That just changed as the tournament staff has just announced that all tables are converting to nine-handed play. More room = more comfort.

A player in middle position raised to 450, and action folded to Kirsty Chick, who moved all in for 2,825. The player in the small blind then shoved all in for 7,500. The original raiser got out of the way, and Chick had her opponent dominated.

The board ran out all low cards, coming      , and Chick held to doubled up to 6,200.

We missed the bust-out hand, but it appears that Jennifer Tilly has been eliminated from the tournament.

Ebhizzle's busto, fo' shizzle.

Marie Lizette called to the PokerNews Live Reporting Team and waved a single green chip in the air. "I'm down to my last 25!" she cried.

As it turns out, Lizette didn't last too much longer after that, but considering that she had her    cracked in a previous hand by an opponent's   , it was always going to be a difficult task to come back from that.

We can also confirm that PokerNews reporter extraordinaire Elissa Harwood has also hit the rail after moving the last of her money in with   , but despite hitting top set on the flop of    , her opponent had her crushed with    for Broadway. Yikes!

Maria Ho - busto

It appears that Maria Ho's first-ever attempt at multi-tabling WSOP events hasn't gone down so well. Having busted earlier in the $2,500 Mixed Hold'em Event over in the Amazon, we can now confirm that she's been busted in the Ladies No Limit Hold'em Championship.

As Danielle "dmoongirl" Anderson recalled to us, Ho moved the last of her money into the middle before the flop with   , only to see Anderson wake up in the blinds with   . The board bricked out and Ho's now out of lives. Boo!

Jennifer Tilly

A player in the cutoff went all-in for her last 550 and Jennifer Tilly re-shoved her stack from the small blind. The big blind folded and Tilly saw that she was in bad shape.

Tilly:
Opponent:

The       board wasn't enough to crack the rockets and Tilly was knocked down to just 1,100 after doubling her opponent.

That's the end of the fourth level. The ladies are now on a 20-minute break.

Australia's Trudy Sultana is by no means all dried up in this tournament, having scored the scalp of Jake Abdalla to move up to more than 9,000 in chips.

All the money was in the middle before the flop; Abdalla was holding    but was flipping for his tournament life against Sultana's   .

Despite picking up the nut flush draw on the flop of    , Sultana's hand was best after the turn and river ran out  ,   to send Abdalla to the rail.

The Ladies Championship has been characterized as friendly, compassionate, and supportive, which we recently saw demonstrated over at April Facey's table. We caught the action on the flop of     when the small blind had checked and Facey bet 1,000 from the button.

The small blind had picked up her hand to double-check her cards, at which point Facey accidentally caught a glimpse of her opponent's holdings. Before Facey could say anything, the small blind made the call. "I have to tell you that I just saw your hand," Facey said as the   was put out on the turn. "I have you beat and am going to save you some money."

The small blind checked and Facey bet 1,000, reiterating that she had the best hand. The small blind realized she had lifted her cards too high and folded   . Facey showed    for the better hand. Friendly, compassionate, and supportive, indeed!
