Picking up the action on fourth street, action was checked to Phil Hellmuth and he bet. Both opponents called him and on fifth street is when the pot really took off. Forrest bet his pair of queens, Rodawig raised, and Hellmuth re-raised all in. Forrest and Rodawig called and once sixth street came down, Forrest was all in as well.

In the end, Forrest's pair of queens held on for high, while Hellmuth's 7-5 low was best to keep both players alive.

After scooping a pot with a straight and low against Ted Forrest, John Racener is closing in on a stack of about one million.

"I guess you did have to play that Ace-Queen-Jack now that I think about it," said Phil Hellmuth.

"Especially after I already completed," said Racener.

Racener turned over (the  ) on seventh street for queens up and needed to dodge a   or low card to double. Hellmuth slowly peeled, but was disgusted to see the   for a losing pair.

"What game are you playing? Three-and-a-half big bets left and you get it in with ace-queen-jack? Write that on the internet," said Hellmuth (That last part to us).

"Had to try and double. That's a scoop!" said a jovial Racener.

Rodawig:    /

Ted Forrest was facing a bet on fifth street from chip leader Eric Rodawig and tanked for about two or three minutes before eventually making a reluctant fold. Rodawig has been gradually increasing his stack all day and at this point it's very hard to see anyone stopping him the way the game is currently going.

Tehan :   /    /

What started as an uneventful pot turned into Joe Tehan's last of the tournament. The action was checked by both on fourth and fifth street. Tehan check-called a bet on sixth street and then fired on seventh, only to be raised for the rest of his stack. After a few moment Tehan called with     for aces up, but Rodawig tabled     for a straight to send Tehan to the rail in seventh place.

Mikhail Savinov raised all in on fifth and showed buried aces against Rodawig's open tens. Savinov caught nines on sixth to make aces up and the chip leader couldn't catch another ten to eliminate him.

Meanwhile in big pot, it hard got heads up between Phil Hellmuth and Eric Rodawig on sixth street after Joe Tehan and Mikhail Savinov had folded.

Hellmuth had been betting all the way and Rodawig had been the only caller on fifth, the chip leader then raised on sixth and Hellmuth said, "Mike Matusow told me all about the weird hands you play..."

Hellmuth eventually mucked the   face up, to become one of the shorter stacks.

Joe Tehan had completed, called by Forrest and Rodawig, Tehan then fired again on fourth and fifth but on the latter Rodawig check-raised both players though they both made the call. It was checked to Forrest on sixth who bet with the other two check-calling before Rodawig check-raised Forrest on seventh. Tehan folded and Forrest put in three bets which the chip leader called.

Rodawig showed     for a boat while Forrest had     for a low and a flush to chop it up.

Phil Hellmuth Still Alive

You won't see this often...

Alright, lets get to it.

After Eric Rodawig brought it in, Joe Tehan completed. Phil Hellmuth called, but John Racener raised. Eslami folded, while Tehan and Hellmuth called. Racener bet fourth street, getting called by both.

Fifth street is where it got cooking! Racener checked, Tehan bet, and Hellmuth raised. Racener, though, re-raised and really put the heat on Tehan. After a few moments he called, as did Hellmuth for his remaining stack. Sixth street then paired up both Racener and Tehan. Racener, with the lead, bet and really sent Tehan into the tank. After about two minutes, Tehan gave it up and showed    for sevens full!

What a fold it was as Racener tabled a better full house with   . Hellmuth showed   , needing to catch a low card to survive. He slowly peeled it and after a moment, excitedly turned over the   to make a 7-6 low to keep his bracelet hopes alive.

After Ali Eslami brought it in, Joe Tehan completed. Phil Hellmuth raised and action folded back to Tehan who called. Both checked fourth street and Hellmuth check-called fifth street. Tehan took the on-board lead on sixth street and bet, getting called by Hellmuth. The same action happened on seventh street and Tehan tabled     for a full house. Hellmuth angrily muttered to himself as he mucked his hand.
