Rusnak was in bad shape until the board was spread       to see him spike a two-outer on the river to double to over 550,000 as Katz slipped to below 400,000 in chips.

From early position, Cary Katz raised to 50,000. Brian Lemke made the call from the big blind and the flop was    . Both players checked to see the   fall on the turn. Both checked again.

The   put a third lady out on the river and Lemke checked. Katz fired 25,000 and Lemke made the call.

Katz showed the    for a full house, queens full of nines, and won the pot. Lemke mucked.

Mikhail Lakhitov raised to 43,000 and Jesse Chinni called in position to take the flop of    . Lakhitov checked and Chinni bet 40,000. Lakhitov gave it up and Chinni won the pot.

From the button, Ricky Fohrenbach raised to 45,000. Richard Lyndaker called from the small blind and the flop came down    . Lyndaker bet 59,000 into the preflop raiser and Fohrenbach folded.

From middle position, Nicholas Blumenthal raised to 44,000. That's his standard amount, but what's not standard is Markus Gonsalves three-betting him. Gonsalves opted to this time and moved all in for 302,000. Action folded around back to Blumenthal and he also folded.

Maria Ho

Action folded to Maria Ho in the small blind and she put in a raise. Ho made it 60,000 to go with only Ricky Fohrenbach to act in the big blind. Fohrenbach studied Ho and her stack before reraising all in. Ho had 462,000 behind and tanked for a bit. She eventually mucked her hand and Fohrenbach won the pot.

From under the gun, Jesse Chinni raised to 45,000. Carlos Mortensen, winner of the 2001 World Series of Poker Main Event, reraised from under the gun plus one to 154,000. Everyone folded included Chinni and Mortensen won the pot.

Ricky Fohrenbach raised from under the gun and made it his standard 45,000. Action folded to Maria Ho in the big blind and she made the call to see the flop. The first three community cards were the     and both players checked. They also checked after the   fell on the turn and the   on the river.

"Ace-jack," announced Ho before turning over her   . Fohrenbach mucked his hand and Ho won the pot.

Farzad Bonyadi opened to 40,000 from middle position only to have Thomas Ross three-bet o 140,000 to force a fold from Bonyadi as he slipped to 430,000.

Ricky Fohrenbach entered the pot with a 45,000-chip raise only to have Nicholas Blumenthal three-bet to 124,000 from the small blind. Fohrenbach kicked his cards to the muck as Blumenthal raked in the pot.

Over on table two, Joseph Kuether made it 44,000 to go, but he too was met with a three-bet amounting to 102,000. Once Kuether mucked, Jesse Chinni was pushed the pot to move to 870,000 in chips.

Peter Gilmore - 18th Place

Peter Gilmore pushed from middle position for his last 297,000 and Thomas Ross made the call from the big blind.

"Here she comes baby!" screamed Ross, just like he did many hands earlier against Dmitry Gromov.

Just like he caught a queen on that occasion, Ross' luck would continue as the board was spread       to see Gilmore hit the rail in 18th place as Ross soars to over 2.3 million.

Maria Ho enjoys that triple!

Thomas Ross entered the pot with a raise to 52,000 only to have Markus Gonsalves three-bet to 151,000. With the action on the short-stacked Maria Ho, she pushed from the small blind for her last 122,000 before Ross iso-shoved all in. Gonsalves made the call for his near half a million as three sets of cards were tabled.

Joseph Kuether opened to 44,000 from under the gun only to have Brian Lemke three-bet his button to 89,000. Once the action returned to Kuether, he four-bet jammed for 367,000 with Lemke making the call.

With Kuether in great shape to double, the       board would ensure that his jacks held true as he doubled through to over 740,000 while Lemke slipped back to a similar amount.
