A player raised to 2,000 from the cutoff seat and Carter Phillips made the call from the big blind. The flop came down and both players checked to see the fall on the turn. Phillips led for 2,500 and won the pot.
On the next hand, the player under the gun limped and Greg Mueller raised to 3,200 from late position. Phillips flatted from the small blind and the limper called as well. The flop came down and Phillips checked. The under-the-gun player checked and then Mueller went all in for what Phillips said was much more than a pot-sized bet. Phillips reshoved and the third player in the hand folded.
Phillips flopped top set with and Mueller held with no club. The turn and river couldn't produce the miracle for Mueller and he was sent to the rail. Phillips improved to 186,500 in chips.

After a raise and a call, Allie Prescott called from the small blind, and the big blind joined them. They were four-handed to the flop. Prescott checked, and the big blind followed suit. The pre-flop raiser bet 3,400, and the hijack flatted. Action back on him, Prescott check-raised to 19,400, about half of his stack. The big blind folded, as did the original bettor. Peter Gould just found himself involved in a four-way pot in which he was taking the lead. The quartet had gotten to the turn with the board showing . Two players checked to Gould who bet 2,000, one called, then another check-raised to 6,300 and all three called the raise.
The river was the and it checked to Gould again. He bet 9,000 this time, getting two opponents to fold. But when the third called his bet, he mucked without even waiting to see his opponents cards. The winner showed anyway -- -- and scooped the sizable pot.

Sarah Underwood was all in preflop with against an opponent's . The ESPN cameras were in position to build the tension but it didn't last long as the flop landed to give her opponent a set and leave Underwood drawing to runners for a straight to chop.

Tables over on the left side of the Pavilion are breaking fast with players being sent to the Amazon and to the other side of the room.
In a rare occurrence, a table in the Amazon was recently moved to the Pavilion. Among the players moved was Jonathan Aguiar, who isn't happy about the decision. As the players were escorted to their new table, Aguiar was venting his frustrations to the floorman, who said he didn't want to argue.
"I don't wanna argue with you," Aguiar responded, "I wanna argue with [tournament director] Jack [Effel]." The players have been searching for a reason why they were moved but so far all the tournament staff have been able to tell them is that they'll check into it. They'd better do it fast because the table is slated to be broken soon (which wouldn't have happened had they stayed in the Amazon Room).
