Danny Smith raised to 40,000 from middle position, and Di "urindanger" Dang moved all in on the button. Smith called.

Dang's queens weren't looking good against Smith's kings. The board fell  , and that wasn't going to get Dang out of danger. He's out in 23rd place, and Smith is up to 200,000.

This one is complicated, and funny, and sad, and above all, MASSIVE.

Ross Boatman raised pot in early position and Joe Serock flat-called. Scott Mandel re-potted, and Boatman called all in. Serock called too, and a side pot was formed.

Serock and Mandel saw a     flop and Serock went all in for 245,000. Mandel called all in for 244,000, a 1,000 chip difference.

Boatman:      for a pair of nines

Serock:      for top pair

Mandel:      for an overpair and a flush draw

Yes, that's right. Boatman made runner-runner quads. As you do. He tripled up to 252,000, and after the hand went over and did a little dance in front of fellow Hendon Mobber Joe Beevers. Fair enough.

However, the more astute reader will have noticed Mandel, already ahead on the flop, had improved to a flush, meaning he took the chunky side pot and moved up to 490,000. Serock was left with just 1,000. It went in a couple hands later.

Danny Smith:

Smith flopped a flush, and that was that for Serock.

We didn't quite catch the hand owing to some frankly crazy action over on the next table, but Ben Middleton is M.I.A, presumed busted.

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 2:43 PM Local Time

Yadin Shemmer made it 37,000 under the gun and Ran Azor called to his immediate left. Justin Smith now moved all in - and it was back on Shemmer, who also moved all in. Azor called, covering them both.

Three-way all-in action!

Azor turned a set of fours, and neither of his opponent's overpairs could improve. Both busted, and the now extremely happy Mr. Azor is up to 725,000.

After a   flop, Chance Kornuth got all his chips in against one of the room's biggest stacks, Kevin Boudreau.

Kornuth:   for the nut straight and a boat draw

Boudreau:   for the nut flush draw

The   turn and   river were both the right color for Boudreau, but neither were the right suit to make his flush. He doubled Kornuth to 705,000. Boudreau fell to 270,000.

Robert Mizrachi potted in mid position and David Iammarino called on the button. Eric Liu in the small blind, however, re-potted. Mizrachi folded, But Iammarino called.

They saw a     flop and Liu ominously asked the dealer, "How much is pot?" It turned out that the pot was slightly larger than Liu's remaining stack, so he went all in. Iammarino folded, giggling, but there's not much to laugh about - he's down to 150,000, while Liu is all smiles on 465,000.

That was speedy. With Daniel Makowsky's elimination, we're down to 27 and redrawing to three tables.

Robert Mizrachi continued his streak of dominance by busting Daniel "AmichaiKK" Makowsky in 28th place. Mizrachi stacked up a whopping 870,000 after the hand.

Kyle Bowker's chips were all in preflop against Julian Gardner.

The board ran out  , and Bowker didn't get there to stay alive. He's out in 29th while Gardner is up to 295,000.

Cards are in the air, but they weren't under way for long before several players were back out in the hall.

Ryan D'Angelo raised to 26,000 from middle position, and from the small blind, Alan Reyf moved all in. G0lfa called to put him at risk.

The board came  , and D'Angelo's aces held to eliminate Reyf. D'Angelo is up to 375,000.

Wednesday, June 30, 2010 1:45 PM Local Time

Good morning! It may be nearly 3:00 p.m., but it's best to stick with morning since we're in for a long haul today. In a few minutes, 31 players will return with their eyes on one prize - a WSOP bracelet (and $508,090). Robert Mizrachi will sit down with a big chip lead, but he's got a tough field all looking to take the top spot away from him. Kevin Boudreau is in second, followed by Jose Nacho Barbero, who came straight to Las Vegas after winning his second LAPT in a row.

Ran Azor, Benny Spindler, Ryan "G0lfa" D'Angelo, and Jason Mercier are also in the top ten. Josh Tieman and Ayaz Mahmood would love to earn their second bracelets of the summer, and Eric "p3achy_keen" Liu, Justin "Boosted J" Smith, Joe Serock, and Di "urindanger" Dang would all be happy with number one.

It's PLO, so today promises to be all drama all the time. Buckle up and deal!
