We missed the start of this hand but do know that there was a raise and a call on third street. Su bet on fourth street, getting a call from Martin, but it was Martin who bet fifth street after picking up a pair of deuces. Su quickly made the call.
Martin check-called a bet from Su on sixth street, and Su immediately asked Martin how much he had left. Martin, who had less than a full bet left, answered the question by putting all his chips in the middle.
Su snap-called and showed a boat. Martin mucked his hand and left to collect his winnings.

We arrived in time to see Jaffee raising a bet from Martin with Martin making the call. Jaffee bet all the way through to sixth street with Martin readily calling. On sixth street Martin took about three minutes to make a decision, asking the dealer to arrange Jaffee's cards in the order in which they fell. Once that was done he thought some more and called.
Jaffee bet and was called again on the river. He showed a wheel for the nuts and Martin mucked.

Nikolai Yakovenko raised from under the gun and was re-raised by Steve Sung in the button. Yakovenko made the call after both blinds folded.
The flop came and both players checked to the turn. At this time Yakovenko bet and Sung called. Betting would follow the same pattern after the came on the river.
Yakovenko showed for a ten-high straight and a low of seven while Sung mucked.

Scott Seiver just lost a couple of hold'em pots that are sure to put a damper on his afternoon.
In the first hand Seiver raised from the cutoff and was called by Jared Jaffee in the small blind and Todd Brunson in the big blind. The flop came and action was checked to Seiver who bet. Jaffee called, but Brunson got out of the way.
The Turn was the and Jaffee check-called a bet from Seiver. When the came on the river Jaffee led out with a bet and Seiver called.
Jaffee tabled for trips, while Seiver tabled , also having trips. Seiver was outkicked, though, and lost the pot to Jaffee.
In the next hand there were four bets preflop between Seiver and Stephen Su to get us a flop of . Su bet the flop and Seiver called, with both of them checking the on the turn and the on the river.
Su showed for a set and Seiver mucked.

Alexander Wice raised in the cutoff seat and then Dario Minieri reraised from the button. Wice raised again and then Minieri called all in. He held the , but was dominated by the that Wice held.

Todd Brunson had raised from early position with Stephen Su and Scott Seiver calling from the small blind and big blind respectively. Each player drew two cards and Su checked with Seiver betting. Brunson called and Su tagged along as well.
Brunson and Su each took two cards on the second draw and Seiver drew one. Su once more checked to Seiver who bet, leading Brunson to fold. Su then raised, getting a call from Seiver.
Su stood pat on the last draw and Seiver drew one more card. Su then checked to Seiver, who bet. Su called, but mucked when Seiver tabled .
Seiver is currently stacking his new chips, and we will be back with a full chip count shortly.

Alexander Kravchenko raised from the button and was called by both Steve Sung in the small blind and Jose Barbero in the big blind. Kravchenko and Sung each drew two cards while Barbero drew three.
Sung led out with a bet on the second round of betting and was called by each opponent with all three players drawing a single card. Sung led out with another bet after the second draw and was again called by both Kravchenko and Barbero. This time Sung stood pat while Kravchenko and Barbero each drew one card.
That was it for the betting as all three players opted to check after the third draw. Sung tabled and took the hand down after Kravchenko and Barbero mucked.

Sigurd Eskeland raised from under the gun and Scott Seiver called from the cutoff seat. Both players then drew two. After the first draw, Eskeland fired, Seiver raised and Eskeland called.
For the second draw, both players drew one. Eskeland then check-called a bet from Seiver. Eskeland drew one for the final draw and Seiver stood pat. Eskeland then check-folded to a bet, showing a pair of sevens.
Seiver moved up to 315,000 in chips while Eskeland dropped to 75,000.

Sometimes, there's just not much you can do to avoid elimination from a poker tournament. Kirk Morrison experienced that feeling just now as he lost to Matt Venrgin in a set-over-set confrontation.
Morrison was in the cutoff seat and raised to 10,000. Vengrin made the call from the small blind and Sigured Eskeland called from the big blind. The three players saw a flop of .
Vengrin was up first and checked. Eskeland also checked and action moved over to the preflop raiser. Morrison fired a continuation bet worth 16,000. Vengrin took a moment and then raised to 41,000. Eskeland went into the tank for a minute or two and eventually folded before Morrison was up again. He moved all in and Vengrin quickly called.
Morrison saw the bad news when Vengrin rolled over the for middle set of jacks. Morrison held the and had flopped bottom set. Surely he was thinking nothing about losing to another set, but it was on the verge of happening.
The turn was the and the river the . Neither fourth or fifth street could produce the final six in the deck for Morrison and he sent over his entire stack. He was all in on the flop for nearly 200,000 chips. Vengrin now has a whopping 580,000 in his stack.
