No-Limit Hold'em

Alexander Wise was on the button but decided not to get involved in the hand, leaving it to Steve Sung to call from the small blind. Sigurd Eskeland checked his option and we were headed to the flop.

Sung bet 30,000 into the   flop with Eskeland making the call. With the   on the river Sung led out once more, this time for 80,000. Eskeland asked how much Sung had behind and heard "About 800" before he made the call.

Both players checked the   river and Eskeland showed   for a pair of eights, leading Sung to muck.

Eskeland has once again taken the chip lead and is sitting with over 2,000,000 in chips.

Wice brought in and Sung completed. Eskeland raised and Wice called. Sung also called. Sung checked fourth and Eskeland bet. Wice raised, Sung folded and Eskeland called. From there, Wice bet fifth, sixth and seventh, getting called by Eskeland each time.

Wice tabled the     from the hole, but lost to Eskeland who showed two pair with the   -X in the hole.

Eskeland completed with his ace up and then Wice raised. Eskeland called. On fourth, Eskeland bet into Wice, who made the call. Eskeland then folded fifth after Wice led with a bet to give Wice this pot.

Omaha-8

Sigurd Eskeland was in the small blind and completed. Alexnader Wice raised from the big blind and Eskeland called. The two took a flop of     and Eskeland checked. Wice bet, Eskeland raised and Wice called.

The turn brought the   and Eskeland check-called Wice's bet. The river then completed the board with the  . Eskeland check-called again.

Wice tabled the      for two pair, aces and fours, along with a seven low. He scooped the pot.

Limit Hold'em

Alexander Wice raised from the small blind and Steve Sung called in the big blind. The flop came down     and Wice check-called a bet from Sung. The turn was the   and Wice check-called again.

After the river came the  , Wice bet out. Sung exposed his hand to Wice and it was ruled that if he called, he would get a three-round penalty. Sung folded and Wice picked up the pot.

Limit Hold'em

Steve Sung and Nikolai Yakovenko got into a ton of preflop betting in action that would lead to Yakovenko's elimination.

Sung started it out by raising from the button with Yakovenko re-raising from the small blind. Sung four-bet and Yakovenko then five-bet all in with Sung calling.

The flop came   and Sung kept his place in the lead. With the   on the turn, Yakovenko managed to get both flush and straight draws. However, neither of them hit when the   came on the river.

We're now taking a twenty-minute break before resuming play three-handed.

Pot-Limit Omaha

Stephen Su was down to 113,000 chips after losing a pot to Steve Sung. The two got into it again, this time with Su's tournament life on the line.

It was a battle of the blinds when Sung raised only to be re-popped by Su, who went all in. Sung made the call.

Su was ahead with his kings, but Sung picked up a flush draw when the flop came down  . The turn was the  , giving Sung even more outs. With the   on the river Sung made his flush and brought us down to four-handed play.

Sung now has 840,000 chips.

No-Limit Hold'em

Alexander Wice was under the gun and wasted no time getting his last 41,000 into the middle. He was called by Nikolai Yakovenko in the small blind.

Things looked bleak for Wice, especially with the flop brining  . However the   on the turn gave Wice a better full house and he faded the case queen when the   came on the river.

Wice now has 118,000 chips.

No-Limit Hold'em

Nikolai Yakovenko raised to 38,000 from under the gun with Steve Sung raising to 120,000 from the small blind. Stephen Su called for his remaining 96,000 and Yakovenko called as well.

The flop was   wuth Sung and Yakovenko checking. They went on to check the   on the turn. When the   came on the river, Sung led out for 200,000 and Yakovenko folded. Sung took the side pot which was worth 48,000.

Sung tabled   while Su showed   and won the main pot with his pair of kings. Su is now up to 323,000.

No sooner had we reported that Steve Sung was trending downward than did he pick up some chips from Stephen Su.

We were busy writing up Sung's lost pot and arrived only on sixth street to see Sung betting and getting a call from Su. Sung bet again on the river, once more getting a call.

Sung showed a set of sixes and scooped the pot. It was a serious loss of chips for Su, who now has just 146,000.
