Chris Bjorin was all in on third street for right around 40,000, and he was drawing against Vladimir Shchemelev for double or nothing.

Both men started strong with Shchemelev's ( )( )/  leading Bjorin's ( )( )/ . That's the closest Bjorin would get as Shchemelev's board ran out ( )( )/    /( ) for a wheel.

Bjorin could only improve to a jack-nine low, and that's going to force him out the door in eighth place. He'll take home almost $20,000 for his work over the last three days.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 5:38 PM Local Time

Maxwell Troy had the bring in, and Frank Kassela completed with a four showing. Mikko Pispala wanted to play, and his six up was worth a call.

Kassela: (X)(X)/       /(X)

Pispala: (X)(X)/       /(X)

Once Pispala picked up the betting lead on fourth street, he fired bullets the whole way through sixth street. Both players slowed down a checked seventh, and Bjorin showed up       for a jack-low. Pispala made a seventy-sick with his      , taking the pot and further increasing his stack. After a great first half of this level, he's all the way up to about 540,000.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 5:32 PM Local Time

Dee Tiller called Stuart Rutter's bring-in before Mikko Pispala completed for 12,000. Rutter folded but Tiller made the call as fourth street landed.

Pispala bet out, Tiller raised and Pispala re-raised. Tiller slid his last 50,000 into the pot and Pispala made the call as both player's boards ran out as follows:

Tiller:    /      / (X)

Pispala:  {3x /      / (X)

Tiller found a   on seventh to keep him in the lead with his seven-six, but unfortunately Pispala found an   to give him a six-five low as Tiller hit the rail in 9th place for a $15,329 payday.

We are now at the final table!

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 5:28 PM Local Time

Frank Kassela had the bring-in, and Chris Bjorin completed in the next seat over. Jen Harman called, Mikko Pispala raised, and both Bjorin and Harman put in the extra bet to continue in the hand.

Bjorin: (X)(X)/       /(X)

Harman: (X)(X)/      --muck--

Pispala: (X)(X)/       /(X)

All three players checked on fourth street, and Bjorin fired a bet on fifth. Harman ducked out, but Pispala made the quick call. Bjorin checked sixth street, and Pispala fired out the bet. Bjorin called, and he called one more bet on seventh street to see a showdown.

Pispala opened up       and that gave him a very strong six-five-four-two-one. Bjorin shook his head as if he expected that, and he revealed his      . Bjorin's six-five-four-three-two was no good, and that loss slips him all the way down around 100,000.

Bjorin has since lost another pot when he folded to a sixth-street bet from Stuart Rutter, further knocking him down to about 60,000.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 5:15 PM Local Time

Jennifer Harman completed for 12,000 and Melville Lewis and Frank Kassela made the call.

Lewis led the betting on fourth as both players called, before Kassela took the lead on fifth. Harman snatched it back on sixth firing out 24,000 as Lewis passed and Kassela continued in the hand.

Both players checked down seventh with their boards reading as follows:

Harman: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Lewis: (X)(X) /      (folded on sixth)

Kassela: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Harman tabled her     in the hole for a eight-seven low to best Kassela's     in the hole and his ten-eight low.

Harman now moves to 478,000 as Kassela slips to 345,000 in chips.

The remaining nine players are heading on a 20-minute break.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 4:47 PM Local Time

Dee Tiller completed for 10,000 and Jennifer Harman made the call before leading on every subsequent street.

Harman: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Tiller: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Tiller caller her down until he folded on seventh street while also flashing his hole cards of     for trip threes.

Tiller slips to 125,000 as Harman climbs to 315,000 in chips.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 4:32 PM Local Time

Mikko Pispala brought-in and Stuart Rutter completed with Pispala defending his 3,000.

Pispala took the lead on fourth street firing out 10,000 with Rutter calling before a 20,000-chip bet when fifth street fell brought about a long pause from Rutter before he folded.

Pispala: (X)(X) /

Rutter: (X)(X) /

With that pot, Pispala moves to 335,000 as Rutter slips to 170,000 in chips.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 4:24 PM Local Time

Jennifer Harman completed for 10,000 and Maxwell Troy made the call.

Harman fired on every street with Troy calling her down until she checked seventh street dark as Troy checked behind.

Harman: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Troy: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Harman tabled her     hole cards for a seven-six low to collect the pot and climb to 225,000 in chips.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 4:17 PM Local Time

The cards are back in the air as we try and lose just one more before a final table is set!

This is how they will be seated with approximate chip counts:

Seat 1: Dee Tiller (200,000)

Seat 2: Jennifer Harman (140,000)

Seat 3: Mikko Pispala (270,000)

Seat 4: Melville Lewis (550,000)

Seat 5: Vladimir Shchemelev (280,000)

Seat 6: Maxwell Troy (470,000)

Seat 7: Frank Kassela (430,000)

Seat 8: Chris Bjorin (130,000)

Seat 9: Stuart Rutter (195,000)

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 4:06 PM Local Time

Our remaining nine players have bagged up their chips, and everyone's headed over to one of the peripheral featured tables over in the Red section of the Amazon Room. We'll play on for one more knockout to set the official final table, and then it's off to the races for the jewelry.

We'll be right back with the table draw and the chip counts to get things rolling.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 4:06 PM Local Time

Arthur Cobb was down under two big bets to start his final hand, and he was very quickly all in against Maxwell Troy.

Troy's board ran out    /       / , and he announced his ninety-six as he flipped his final card over. At that point, Cobb's board showed    /       /(X), and he was going to need to need to pull a low card in order to stay alive. The   he peeled was a pair, though, and a queen-low isn't going to get it done.

Unable to get there on his last shot, Arthur Cobb is out in 10th place.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 3:51 PM Local Time

Catching the action on fourth street with Daniel Ospina all in, we found Mikko Pispala firing out a bet with Chris Bjorin calling before Bjorin folded to a bet on sixth.

Ospina:    /

Pispala:    /

Bjorin: (X)(X) /     (folded on fifth)

Ospina caught a   as Pispala found a  , only to catch a   on seventh to improve.

With Ospina needing to find a seven, five or deuce to stay alive, he would be in a good chance when he sweated a three-sider. Unfortunately for him it would be the wrong three-side as it was an   to see him hit the rail in 11th place for a $12,105 payday.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 3:43 PM Local Time

Scott Packer brought-in and found a complete from Frank Kassela and a raise from Dee Tiller. Packer committed his last 16,000 as Kassela called the raise.

Kassela fired out bets on fourth, fifth and sixth streets with Tiller calling him down until he folded on sixth.

Packer: (Ax}  /

Kassela:    /

With Packer drawing dead, he still managed to improve with a   on seventh as Kassela found a   to also improve.

Packer made his way to the rail in 12th place for a $12,105 payday as Kassela climbs to 320,000 in chips.

Stuart Rutter completed the bring-in with a deuce up, and Maxwell Troy three-bet it with a six. Rutter called.

Rutter: (X)(X)/    /(X)

Troy: (X)(X)/    /(X)

Rutter was betting the whole way, and Troy wasn't much of a believer. The calls were coming quickly, though the last one on seventh street was a bit reluctant. Rutter flipped up his    , and his seventy-five had Troy boardlocked.

Rutter is up over 300,000 now, while Troy falls back just under with 285,000.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 3:34 PM Local Time

Steve Diano completed for 8,000 only to have Jennifer Harman two-bet to 16,000.

Diano deliberated for a few moments before sliding in his last 24,000 with Harman making the call.

Diano:    /

Harman:    /

"Oh, I'm in the lead" stated Diano as he received a   and Harman a  . Diano found a   on fifth to put him in the game as Harman found a  . Diano gained a   on sixth as Harman bricked again with a   as both player's board read as follows before seventh was dealt.

Diano:    /

Harman:    /

Although seventh street is normally dealt face down, the dealer accidently dealt them face up to see Diano find a   as Harman improved with an   to make an eight-six-four to best Diano's eight-six-four.

With Diano being outdraw on seventh, he made his way to the rail in 13th place for a $9,687 payday as Harman climbs to 190,000 in chips.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 3:21 PM Local Time

Arthur Cobb called the bring-in only to have Jennifer Harman complete for 8,000. Cobb made the call and proceeded to call Harman down on each street until both players checked seventh street.

Harman: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Cobb: (X)(X) /      / (X)

Harman tabled her     hole cards for ten-six low and Cobb mucked his hand to slip to under 100,000 as Harman climbed to 170,000 in chips.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 3:16 PM Local Time

For the sake of setting the scene, Scott Packer earned a small double up two or three hands before this one:

Mikko Pispala completed with the   up, and Stuart Rutter and Scott Packer both called with the   and   respectively.

Pispala: (X)(X)/       /(X)

Rutter: (X)(X)/       /(X)

Packer: (X)(X)/       /(X)

On fourth street, Rutter was the bettor, and both opponents called. Packer bet fifth street, and again on sixth, the last bet putting him all in for 14,000. When Pispala called that one, Rutter raised, and Pispala called. Both live players checked seventh street.

Rutter showed up       to take the side pot with a ten-seven low. Packer was elated to table his      , and that ninety-eight scores him a huge triple up to 120,000 after being nearly down to the felt just two hands ago.

Wednesday, June 23, 2010 3:04 PM Local Time

Arthur Cobb had the bring-in, and Maxwell Troy completed with the  . William Wood called showing the  , and the two men were heads up the rest of the way.

Troy: (X)(X)/       /(X)

Wood: (X)(X)/       /(X)

On fourth street, Wood bet his lead, and Troy looked pained as he eventually made the call with an open pair. Wood checked to him on fifth though, and Troy bet. Wood called that one, and another 16,000 on sixth street, leaving himself just 20,000 chips. When Troy fired again on seventh street, Wood squeezed his       and decided a fold was in order.

A couple hands later, Wood was relieved of his final few thousand chips at the hands of Vladimir Shchemelev. Wood is out in 14th place, taking home almost $8,000.
