Kenneth Aldridge completed with both Ryan Hughes and Chad Brown making the call. Hughes led the betting on fourth, with Brown bricking and folding, as Aldridge came along.

Aldridge caught better on fifth and led out before another bet on sixth was enough to take it down.

Brown: (X-X) /

Aldridge: (X-X) /

Hughes: (X-X) /

Aldridge is up to 840,000 with Hughes slipping down to 145,000.

Razz

It appears to us that Phil Ivey has gone into "Don't Mess With Me" mode. He's been ultra-aggressive in the stud games today and now that he's equipped with chips, he's turning on the afterburners.

In a recent razz hand, Ivey led on fourth, called on fifth before firing again on sixth and seventh streets. His opponent was David Baker who eventually conceded to the pressure and folded on the river.

Ivey: (X-X-X) /

Baker: (X-X-X) /

Ivey is now up to 960,000 chips.

Someone pointed out to us today that it was strange to see Jeff Lisandro not wearing his trademark hat at the table. Well, someone from the crowd has just handed Lisandro a rather unique cap, which he is proudly donning at the table.

It's a baseball cap, and on the front it reads "God is good all the time" and on the back "I (heart) Jesus".

Speaking of fashion, Bill Chen is certainly dressed the part today in a full suit. Apparently some of his friends were getting married today, and we actually spotted a bride and groom sweating the action on the rail a little earlier. Apparently Bill was the wedding planner, so we have to question his planning skills somewhat since he's sitting here, rather than at the wedding reception!

Omaha-8

Phil Ivey raised it up with both David Baker and Jeff Lisandro making the call. Lisandro was all in for his last chips.

In side action, Baker check-called Ivey's bets on the flop and turn before both players checked the river on the board of      .

Ivey showed      for kings and queens to win the side pot, as Lisandro showed      for rivered trips for the triple up! He's back to 90,000 and has his head above water once again.

Omaha-8

Kenneth Aldridge raised it up before Ryan Hughes made it three bets to go. Aldridge made the call and they saw a flop of    .

Aldridge led out with a bet, and again on the   turn and   river with Hughes calling him down.

Aldridge tabled      for the old "nut-nut" for the scoop as Hughes flashed     . Aldridge has started this final table perfectly with another omaha scoop to climb to 780,000 and the chip lead as Hughes slips to 205,000.

Omaha-8

Chad Brown raised it up before John Juanda put in the three-bet. Brown made the call and they saw a flop of    .

Juanda led out with a bet and Brown made the call. The turn was the   and again Juanda's bet was met with a call from Brown. The river was the   and Juanda fired a third barrel which was enough to force a fold from Brown.

Omaha 8

They redrew for the game and Omaha-8 was the winner at the start of this final table. Kenneth Aldridge took advantage with the first major pot.

He took a flop of     with Albert Hahn and checked it over. Hahn made a bet and Aldridge called.

The turn was the   and again the action went check, bet, call before the   hit the river. Aldridge then led out with a bet and Hahn looked him up.

Aldridge tabled      for a six-high straight and nut low to scoop. He moves up to 635,000 with Hahn down to 215,000.

Stud

Brent Wheeler's recent double-up was only able to stave off elimination a short while. He got all in on third street with split eights and was called by Bill Chen's split jacks. Chen made queens full of jacks by sixth street, which left Wheeler drawing dead. He leaves in 10th place, allowing the tournament to collapse to a "last" table of nine players before the next elimination sets the final table.

Stud

Lisandro: X-X /         / X

Aldridge: X-X /         / X

Jeff Lisandro, who had been trending downwards since the dinner break, is almost flat-lining at this point. He went all the way to the river with Ken Aldridge. Aldridge completed third street and bet fourth street and fifth street. On fifth street, Lisandro check-raised and was called.

Both players checked sixth street. Down the river, Aldridge checked again, then called a bet from Lisandro. Aldridge showed       for two pair, queens and fives, to drag the pot.

That hand crippled Lisandro. He folded one hand before being all in for 4,000 of the 5,000-chip ante. Lisandro won that hand without a sweat against Chad Brown, then was dealt split kings with an ace his next hand and won that hand too. He currently has about 60,000.

"I won a stud tournament once after being down to one chip," Lisandro told the table. Lisandro has some tough competition if he hopes to do that again.

Stud

The stud rounds have been very good to Phil Ivey here today, and again he's used this round to make a surge up the chip count leaderboard with back-to-back pots.

After first taking a pot off John Juanda, Ivey was back in the thick of it against Ryan Hughes. Ivey check-called fourth, and led on fifth. Hughes was the aggressor on sixth before Ivey led again on the river.

Hughes: (X-X-X) /

Ivey: (   ) /

Aces up for Ivey and suddenly he's back up to 660,000 with Hughes slipping back to 400,000.

Razz

John Juanda completed before Brent Wheeler raised. Juanda deliberated for some time before re-raising to put his opponent all in, and he made the call.

Juanda: (  ) /      / ( )

Wheeler: (  ) /      / ( )

Both players made a nine but Wheeler took it down with his ninety-six. He doubles to about 140,000.

Razz

The hand itself was not that exciting. Jeff Lisandro completed third street with a trey and was called by David Baker with a four. Baker caught a baby on fourth street to Lisandro's brick, bet it, and took down the pot. But the hand was emblematic of how things are going for Lisandro. He's down to about 100,000 chips after losing the omaha hand against Chad Brown and then losing a series of small pots after that.

Omaha-8

During the Omaha-8 round Phil Ivey has been very active, raising up most pots preflop. Ivey twice chopped with the short-stacked Brent Wheeler, before losing a chunk of change to John Juanda.

Juanda raised the button and Ivey three-bet the small blind. Juanda called and they saw a flop of    . Ivey led out and Juanda raised. Ivey gave it up to slip back to 200,000. Meanwhile Juanda is looking strong with around 800,000.

Monday, June 21, 2010 7:45 PM Local Time

Omaha-8

The first blow after dinner on the feature table belongs to Chad Brown. He bet every street of a           board. Jeff Lisandro, sitting in position, called each bet. At showdown, Brown tabled the nuts --        , a Broadway straight. Lisandro flashed    , a king-high straight, before mucking.

The players are back following the dinner break and the cards are back in the air.

Monday, June 21, 2010 6:40 PM Local Time

The players are on a one-hour dinner break.

Monday, June 21, 2010 6:40 PM Local Time

Hold'em

Bill Chen raised it up from the button and Phil Ivey defended with a call in the big blind.

The flop landed     and Ivey check-called the bet from Chen. The   hit the turn and Ivey decided to lead out. Chen made the call and the   hit the river.

Ivey checked and Chen quickly checked behind tabling    for a busted straight-flush draw, that ended with a lonely pair of nines. It was enough as Ivey tossed his cards into the muck.

Ivey is down to 180,000 with Chen approaching 700,000.

Monday, June 21, 2010 6:38 PM Local Time

Hold'em

The end for Dan Makowsky was just as brutal as some of the hands that made him short to begin with. He raised pre-flop before David Baker three-bet from the small blind. Makowsky made it four bets and Baker called.

On a flop of      , Baker led into Makowsky, then called Makowsky's all-in raise. Baker showed unimproved     and was drawing thin against Makowsky's pocket queens,   . An   promptly spiked on the turn, causing an anguished Makowsky to immediately put his hands on top of his head, turn around, and took a few paces away from the table. The   on the river did not improve Makowsky. He's been eliminated in 11th place.

Baker now has about 450,000.

Monday, June 21, 2010 6:37 PM Local Time

Brent Wheeler is now short and a little unhappy after losing back-to-back hands across different games.

In the final hand of stud-8, Ryan Hughes showed an ace-high flush and six-low to scoop the pot.

Next hand it was hold'em when Phil Ivey raised from under the gun. Wheeler re-raised from the button and Ivey called.

The flop landed     and Ivey checked, then called the bet from Wheeler. The same sequence when down on the   turn before both players checked the   river.

Ivey showed    which was good as Wheeler cringed and mucked. He's down to 135,000.
