Event #26: $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed

Eddy Scharf raised from the button to 115,000 and then Jarred Solomon called from the big blind. After the flop came down    , Solomon check-raised Scharf's 200,000-chip bet to 475,000. Scharf mucked and dropped back to 1.17 million in chips. Solomon moved back up to about 1.9 million.

From under the gun, Jeffrey Papola raised to 100,000. He's been constantly min-raising every time he opens a pot, so this is the norm for him. Jarred Solomon was in the next position and reraised to 285,000. Action the moved to the small blind where Joe Baldwin sat. He raised again, four-betting to 550,000. Papola folded and then action fell back on Solomon and he went into the tank.

"Wow, really? Really?!?!" he said as he slammed his chips and shook his head back and forth. Eventually, he mucked his hand and dropped to about 1.1 million in chips. Baldwin moved back over two million.

Eddy Scharf raised from the small blind to 150,000 and Jeffrey Papola called in the big blind. The first three community cards came down    , leaving some draws out there. Scharf fired 200,000 and Papola made the call.

The turn card added the   to the board and Scharf moved all in for 685,000. After a moment in the tank, Papola folded his hand and Scharf scooped the pot. Papola dropped to 2.8 million in chips.

Jarred Solomon opened to 105,000 from under the gun and Jeffrey "jpapola" Papola called from the big blind. Both players checked the   flop.

The   on the turn paired the board and Solomon check-called 155,000 from Papola.

The action went check-check again after the   rivered and Papola opened   for a pair of jacks. Solomon mucked and Papola raked in the pot to increase his stack to 3,250,000 chips.

Solomon is down to 1,200,000.

Jeffrey "jpapola" Papola opened to 80,000 on the button and and Jarred Solomon re-raised to 230,000 from the small blind. Papola released and Solomon was shipped the pot.

Steve Cowley raised to 105,000 and Jeffrey Papola called from the big blind. The flop came down     and Papola checked. Cowley fried a continuation bet of 140,000 and Papola called.

The turn card came the   and this is where things got really interesting. Papola checked and Cowley fired 215,000. After a few moments, Papola moved all in. Chowley made the call, holding top pair, top kicker and the nut diamond draw with the   . Papola turned two pair with the   .

Cowley was the player at risk and when the   landed on the river, he was all out of chips as Papola scooped the pot. Cowley earned $77,228 for his finish.

From under the gun, Jeffrey Papola raised to 60,000 and Joe Baldwin called from the small blind. The flop came down     and both players checked.

The turn was the   and both checked again. The river was the   and Baldwin fired 85,000. Papola looked him up and Baldwin simply mucked his hand. Papola showed the    and won the pot.

Action folded to Jeffrey "jpapola" Papola on the button who limped in. Steve Cowley completed in the small blind, Jarred Solomon checked his option and the three saw a flop of  .

Cowley led for 62,000, Solomon released and Papola called.

Both players checked the   on the turn and Cowley checked again after the   rivered. Papola took the opportunity to bet 106,000 and Cowley folded.

Eddy Scharf raised from early position to 70,000 and Jeffrey Papola was up next. He flatted the raise before action moved one seat over to Javier Etayo. With a stack of 641,000, Etayo moved all of his chips into the middle. Action then moved to Jarred Solomon in the small blind and he went into the tank. After a minute or two, Solomon announced that he was all in, having Etayo covered. William Haydon was in the big blind and stood from his chair as he thought about his decision. After a little bit, Haydon folded and then Scharf mucked followed by Papola.

Etayo tabled the    and Solomon the    making for the most famous coinflip situation of them all.

The flop came down     and Solomon stayed in the lead. His rail began cheering louder as he grew that much closer to eliminating Etayo.

The turn brought the   and Solmon's queens held strong with one card to come. The river card landed with the   and that was it. Solomon's ladies dodged the overcards of Etayo and he was eliminated in seventh place.

With his bustout, six players remain and they are now going on a dinner break until 8:45 p.m. local time with just under 15 minutes left in Level 24. We'll have official chip counts coming in just a few moments.

Jarred Solomon opened to 77,000 from middle position and the action folded to Jeffrey "jpapola" Papola in the big blind who moved all in for an additional 482,000.

Solomon went into the tank, counting his own stack and cutting out enough chips to call. He stacked an assortment of T1,000, T5,000 and T25,000 chips and held them with his right hand. After letting out a heavy sigh and thinking the situation through he finally pushed them forward to make the call.
