The cards are in the air for the third and final day of action. Here we go.

Tuesday, June 8, 2010 1:45 PM Local Time

If you think final tables on the final day of a tournament go for a long time, try going from 18 players to a winner. Along with that, Event No. 15: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Championship isn't even in the money yet, meaning a good amount of time will be spent on the money bubble.

With 18 remaining, the players are seated on three separate tables to start the day, which begins at 3:30 p.m. local time. The complete seating chart can be found here or you can simply look below. The chip leader entering the final day is Frank Kassela, who bagged up 515,000 big ones last night. Hot on his heels is Sergey Altbregin who finished with 497,000. No one else is within 100,000 chips of those two, but nothing one scooped pot can't change.

Also remaining in the field are big names Steve Zolotow, John Juanda, Jennifer Harman, Allen Kessler, Chip Jett and Marco Johnson. You can't forget about Gary Benson either, who holds one stud gold bracelet from back in 1996. As we also mentioned last night, Vladimir Schmelev is continuing his impressive 2010 World Series with another deep run in this event. If he can grind his way to the final table, he should be able to take over the top spot for Player of the Year.

We're about 45 minutes away from the start of things so stay tuned to PokerNews as we'll be bringing you all the action from the floor once underway.
