The flop couldn't have been any better for Dempsey. It came , and he took the lead with top pair and a flush draw. Liu was down to one out. The neighboring tournament was let out on break and surged the table to see what the commotion was all about. Dempsey's fans kept up the cheering as the fell on the turn to give him two pair and the on the river upgraded him to an unnecessary flush. "Bracelet, bracelet!" they cheered as JJ stood up to leave.
She wasn't able to win her first bracelet, but the tournament veteran added $86,512 to her $2.1 million in lifetime cashes. This was Liu's fourth WSOP final table.

Dempsey had to call another 170,000 to put Liu at risk, but he opted to fold instead. Her mother, on the rail overlooking the final table, stood up to clap for her daughter.

Haraden was relegated to the rail in fifth place, not bad for his first WSOP cash.
Haraden's elimination pushed Dempsey even further out in front of the rest of the pack. He's got nearly 1.5 million now.
