Chip leader John Monnette raised from the button and Scott Clements called from the BB before a       flop came down. Clements check-raised Monnette's bet, which he called to see a   turn. Clements led out this time, Monnette three-bet, Clements four-bet him back. Call. The river   saw Clements lead out again and Monnette called to cap this huge pot. Clements proudly turned over         for quads, the pot and the chip lead. Clements -- 1,410,000 Monnette -- 900,000

Between the last two hands, a woman called out from the rail, about 50 feet from the tables. "Annie! Annie! You're better than Joan Rivers!" Annie shot a smile over to the rail, offering a quiet, "Thank you." After a little pause, she turned back and added, "At this game, yeah."

We pick up the action on the flop, heads up between Annie Duke and Daniel Alaei. The board showed      , and each player put in three bets. Fourth street came the  , and fifth street the  . Alaei bet both streets, with Duke quickly calling fourth and not so quickly calling fifth. In the end, Alaei tabled         for jacks full. Annie tapped the table and flipped her cards into the muck. She's been crippled once again, back down to about 60,000.

Yueqi Zhu, Scott Clements and Ben Boyd are all still in the hand when the turn was dealt giving us a         board. Clements bet out from the BB, Boyd called from UTG and Zhu folded from the SB. The river   saw Clements check-call Boyd's bet. Clements scooped with         and a frustrated Boyd opened        . Clements up to 665,000.

Annie Duke raised under the gun, and Daniel Alaei took his time eying up her stack. He three-bet it, and Duke moved all in for a total of 76,000. Alaei put in the extra 16,000 to put Duke to the test. [u]Showdown[/u] Duke:         Alaei:         The board ran out          . Duke takes the top have with kings and jacks, while Alaei chops her with a running low hand. ---------- A few hands later, Duke was again all in before the flop, this time tangling with Jacobo Fernandez. Daniel Negreanu was tangled up with John Monnette in a battle of the blinds. The board ran          , with Negreanu firing and Monnette calling all the way. After the last call, Negreanu turned over        , scooping up a sizable pot. Negreanu has been all in several times today, but he's on the move, up to 500,000 now!

Tom Koral opened with a raise from early position, and Daniel Alaei three-bet it down the line. Koral eventually called, and it was heads up. The first three community cards came      , and both players checked. Fourth street was the  , and Koral check-called a bet from Alaei. On the river, the   drew a check from both players. Koral tabled        , and Alaei flashed     as the pot went to the short-stacked Koral. He's now a little less short-stacked, but still down there with 240,000.

Daniel Alaei raised from early position, and both Annie Duke and Tom Koral called from the blinds. The flop brought      . Annie Duke fired out the first bet and Koral called. When it came to Alaei, he put in a rais, and Annie Duke committed her last 5,000 chips to the pot; all in now and at risk. Koral called as well. Fourth street came the  , and both players checked. On the river  , Alaei bet, and Koral eventually called. In the big blind, Ville Wahlbeck raised the additional 7,000 chips he had behind, and both opponents called, putting Wahlbeck in danger. The board ran out          . Khouiss called a bet from Monnette on the flop and fourth street, and both players checked fifth. Daniel Negreanu raised from the button and Sam Khouiss quickly called from the small blind -- heads up to the flop. It came       and Negreanu bet. Khouiss raised, putting himself all in for a total of 37,000, and Negreanu put him at risk. "I got the nuts," said Khouiss, tabling        . "Well, I got a low draw," said Negreanu, turning over        . The turn card got Negreanu half of the pot with the  . Khouiss looked none to pleased as he grunted, "Just like that, huh?" The   completed the board, and the two men took their money back from the pot.

Daniel Negreanu is refusing to go quietly. He has just managed to double up to 175,000 through Ben Boyd. It was a three way limped pot to a       flop. Boyd led out and Negreanu raised. On a flop showing      , Daniel Negreanu was heads up with Yueqi Zhu. Negreanu check-called a bet, then did the same on the   that hit the turn. The river came the  , and Zhu fired again. "Great. I'm gonna get scooped because you made a flush," lamented Negreanu. Then, with a ho-hum sort of lift in his voice, he said, "Well, you can't win every pot, I'll call." Zhu said, "Nut-nut," turning over        . Negreanu knew it, shaking his head and flipping his cards in his hand. He flashed         before slapping his cards into the muck.

A big three way pot just went down between Scott Clements, John Monnette and Ville Wahlbeck. Monnette raised preflop, Wahlbeck called and Clements three bet from the BB. Both players called and they also called Clements bet on every street until we had a finished board of          . Clements anounced "Nut-nut" and openend         to scoop the lot and put him on 650,000.
