Hennigan Extends His Lead

John Hennigan opened from the cutoff, Robert Wells three-bet from the small blind, Hennigan four-bet and Wells made the call. Wells stood pat while Hennigan drew one.

After the first draw Wells bet, Hennigan raised and Wells called. Wells stood pat again while Hennigan drew one.

Wells check-called another bet from Hennigan after the second draw and stood pat. Hennigan drew one.

With no draws remaining both players checked. Hennigan tabled       for a seven-low and seven-badugi to scoop the pot.

Gelencser Catches Good to Double

2-7 Triple Draw

Peter Gelencser raised on the button, John Hennigan reraised in the big blind, and Gelencser called.

Hennigan took one and bet, while Gelencser called after taking two. Hennigan tossed away a jack on the second draw and bet again.

Gelencser called and Hennigan stood pat. Gelencser took two as action was checked. Hennigan turned over a 10-8 and Gelencser mucked.

A few hands later, Gelencser raised, Brayden Gazlay reraised, and Gelencser called.

Both players drew two and Gelencser got his last chips in. Gazlay stood pat on the last draw and turned over J-8-6-4-2, while Gelencser had 8-6-5-4 drawing one. He caught a   on the final draw.

"He made it," Gazlay called over to his rail as Gelencser doubled up.

Wells took two, while Blom drew one and bet. Wells called and took one.

Blom stood pat and bet again. Wells then raised and Blom gave it some thought before folding.

Clint Wolcyn Eliminated in 6th Place ($20,665)

Clint Wolcyn opened to 120,000 from the small blind and Brayden Gazlay called from the big blind.

The flop came    . Wolcyn fired an 80,000 continuation bet only for Gazlay to raise to 300,000. Wolcyn made the call.

On the   turn Wolcyn checked and Gazlay bet 800,000. Wolcyn moved all in for about 1,350,000 and Gazlay quickly called with a covering stack to put Wolcyn at risk.

Gazlay was ahead with top two pair but Wolcyn still had outs to either half the pot if he completed his low draw or the entire pot if he spiked a king. His deep run came to an end in sixth place after finding no help on the   river while Gazlay dragged in a pot worth over 3,000,000.

Hennigan proceeded to bet each street down to seventh and Wells called. Hennigan bet again on seventh and Wells called once more.

Hennigan turned over     for two pair and Wells mucked.

"That's the key to this game. Make two pair, with the ace being one of them," Clint Wolcyn said.

"I'm so lucky at this game. I've been doing it for 30 years. I play terrific, but I run so well," Hennigan replied.

Wolcyn Reduced Further by Wells

Clint Wolcyn completed from under the gun, Robert Wells three-bet from the small blind and Wolcyn called. Both players drew one.

After the first draw Wells bet and Wolcyn raised it to 160,000. Wells made the call and drew one while Wolcyn stood pat.

Wells checked after the second draw and Wolcyn bet. Wells raised it to 320,000, worth two big bets, and Wolcyn made the call. Wells stood pat and Wolcyn, after standing pat previously, broke his hand and drew one.

With no draws remaining Wells bet and Wolcyn went into the tank. After a couple minutes he opted to fold.

"Show the bluff" Wolcyn asked his opponent. Wells just smiled as he dragged in another massive pot while Wolcyn was left with just over six big bets.
