Lappin Keeps Building

A player in the small blind limped before David Lappin checked his option out of the big blind.

The small blind led out for 5,000 on the     flop and Lappin quickly called.

There was no slowing down for the small blind following the   turn as he instead fired again, this time sizing up to 13,000. As on the previous street, Lapin just called.

The board pairing   river saw both players check to showdown with Lappin turning over   , sufficient to take down the pot as the Irish pro continues to add to his stack.

Park Pulls Out a Crazy Semi Bluff

According to the table, the cutoff opened and it was called by the button and Kwanghwan Park in the big blind.

The flop brought     and it checked to the button who bet 8,000. Only Park made the call.

On the   turn, Park led out for 35,000 and his opponent made the call.

When the   landed on the river Park checked. The button fired 87,000 in the middle and Park replied by shoving, putting his opponent at risk for a stack around 350,000.

The latter went deep into the tank, and after a few minutes he eventually folded, showing    for the full house. Park flipped over    before grabbing the big pot.

"You're crazy man!" said the initial player. "That was a crazy hand'.

Kessler Only Looks at One Ace

Allen Kessler

A player on the button raised to 10,000 before Allen Kessler shoved all in from the big blind for 76,000. The button gave it some thought but eventually decided to call.

Kessler had picked up aces and finished with a set on the       board to double up. "I only looked at the spade. I decided if I had an ace I was going to shove," Kessler admitted after the hand.

Seymour Finds Vital Double-Up, Weissman Gone

After some preflop raising had taken place, the small blind had put in 100,000 chips and the action was back on American Football Hall of Famer Richard Seymour. He jammed all in for 234,000 and brought despair upon his opponent.

"This is bad for me, you know?" the small blind said. Seymour just responded with a smile.

Eventually, he made the call, asking "Ace-king?"

Seymour's opponent had guessed correctly, but his prior detrimental gut feeling was also correct when the board came out       to give Seymour a pair of aces and the double-up.

Kanakopoulos Keeps Betting

Orestis Kanakopoulos raised in early position to 10,000, finding one caller in the big blind.

The flop came     to which the big blind check-called a bet of 7,000 from Kanakopoulos.

The turned   saw a repeat of the action, this time Kanakopoulos betting 30,000.

The   river saw the big blind check once more. Kanakopoulos bet 175,000; more than enough to put his opponent all in for their tournament life.

After some time in the tank, Kanakopoulos's opponent tossed their cards into the muck.

Breed Overcomes Dinh's Speech Play

Action was joined on the     flop with Koen Breed betting 7,000 under the gun. Andy Dinh, the button, raised to 16,000. "I just won the pot," said a smiling Dinh. Breed contemplated for a few moments before raising to 40,000.

"Sh*t," said Dinh in response. "Huh. I guess I have to call," he said, tossing in chips.

The   arrived on the turn, and Breed led out for 20,000. Dinh waited a few moments before putting in the call.

The river brought the  . Breed bet 35,000, and Dinh appeared unsure of his next move. "If I fold, will you show me?" he asked Breed, who remained motionless. "No?" added Dinh. After considering for a few more moments, Dinh said that he was making a bad call and announced that he was calling. Breed turned over   , and Dinh flashed    as he folded.

Crabtree Bets into Hinkle

Donald Crabtree opened to 12,000 from late position and was then three-bet by Blair Hinkle in the cutoff to 33,000. The action folded back around to Crabtree who made the call to see a flop of    .

Both players checked through to the   turn and Crabtree led out for 55,000 to which Hinkle promptly folded to award him the pot.

Rajkovic Gets a Dream Flop to Triple

A player in the small blind moved all in for 160,000 before Adi Rajkovic, in middle position, called all in for his last 114,000. Terrance Sanders snap-called having both players well covered.

Brown Takes From Fish

Camille Brown was heads-up from the big blind against Darryll Fish on the button on a      board. Brown bet 11,000 and Fish called.

According to the other players at the table, he got his last 75,000 chips in preflop with ace-queen against Ryan Stoker's ace-king and failed to pull ahead against the bigger ace.

Siboni Shows the Bluff

The under-the-gun player raised to 11,000, the cutoff called and Eli Siboni three-bet to 20,000. Both opponents called.

Three ways to a flop of    , the action checked around to Siboni who bet out for 25,000. The under-the-gun player called and the cutoff folded.

The   turn saw the action check back to Siboni who again bet 35,000. His opponent called.

The   river saw one last check from the under-the-gun player, who faced a final bet of 53,000 from Siboni. They eventually decide to fold and Siboni tabled   . His opponent announced that they'd folded ace-king.

Benitez Bumps It Up

Francisco Benitez made the minimum raise to 10,000 from early position and a player in the cutoff called. The button then three-bet to 36,000, after which Benitez made it 88,000 to go.

The cutoff quickly folded and, after some time thinking it over, the button followed suit.

Laborda Flips to a Double

Hilton Laborda opened to 13,000 from early position before a player in the cutoff three-bet to 33,000. Action folded back around to Laborda and he responded by moving all in for his last 107,000. His opponent made the call with the covering stack to put Laborda at risk.

Moure Triples Against Aces; Hall Folds Kings Preflop

PokerNews was waved over as a huge hand was unfolding:

After an open to 12,000 from the player in middle position, Jose Moure moved all in for 62,000 and Kalidou Sow made the call. Then Zachary Hall re-raised to 175,000 and the action folded back around to Sow who then back-raised all-in, covering Hall.

Hall then went into the tank for over a minute but eventually shook his head and folded    face-up and the table let out a collective gasp.

The cards were then tabled, with Moure at risk.

"Wow!"

"What a fold!" several players around the table congratulated Hall on his stellar fold as the flop came out     with Sow still in the lead.

Miraculously, the board ran out    to give Moure a straight on the river to stay alive with a big triple-up while Sow just shook his head.

Almond Leaves Deeb Short-Stacked

Shaun Deeb opened to 10,000 from the hijack and Philip Almond defended his big blind.

The flop came     and Almond check-called a 5,000 bet from Deeb.

Both players checked the   turn leading to the   river. Almond led out for 5,000 and Deeb raised to 15,000. After about two minutes Almond moved all in, forcing a fold from Deeb who was left with about fifteen big blinds with the bubble drawing near.

Kottler Takes From Brewer

Action was joined on the     flop. Jeremy Kottler checked from middle position before Chris Brewer bet 23,000 from late position. Kottler made the call.

The turn came  , and this time Kottler led out in the amount of 80,000 with Brewer coming along.

The   arrived on the river, and Kottler took his time. "140," he announced, to which Brewer immediately slid his cards into the muck.

Neeme Doubles After Spiking Turn

A player in early position raised to 10,000 and was called by the player on the button. Andrew Neeme then shoved for his last 70,000 from the big blind and only the inital raiser called to put Neeme at risk.

Neeme looked resigned to his fate on the     flop, but the   drilled Neeme's pocket pair for a set of nines on the turn. The   river was safe for Neeme and he doubled up late in the evening.
