Aces Dented but Not Cracked

Action was joined as Aaron Frei moved all in preflop from the hijack and was called by a player in middle position.

Frei's happiness quickly turned into horror when the flop came    , giving his opponent a set. The   turn gave him additional outs, and the   gave Frei Broadway to win the hand and double up.

"Finally!" screamed Frei when the queen arrived on the river.

Binepal Bets Three Streets

Two players were looking at a board of    . The player in the big blind checked the action over to Amrinder Binepal on the button, who bet out for 7,000. The big blind called.

The   fell on the turn and the action repeated, this time Binepal betting 19,000.

The   river saw one last check from the big blind. Binepal bet out for 45,000 and his opponent eventually folded.

"Whatever you laid down; very good fold!" Binepal reasured the player in the big blind.

Neff Gets Revenge on Mizrachi Two Years Later

Peter Neff raised 9,000 in the hijack before Robert Mizrachi jammed in the small blind. The big blind got out of the way and Neff asked for a count. After hearing it was 42,500, he made the call.

Two years prior, Mizrachi had eliminated Neff in the Main Event, so Neff was looking to even it out as they went to the races.

The     flop was looking promising for Mizrachi, as his sevens were still in the lead. The   turn gave Neff some extra outs as he picked up a flush draw and the   river completed the flush as Mizrachi was sent to the rail.

Black Tanks, Then Shoves

Alex Foxen raised to 9,000 from the hijack before a player on the button reraised to 30,000. William Black, in the small blind, then tanked for several minutes until the clock was called.

Black then called while Foxen got out of the way to leave him and the button heads-up to the     flop. Black then instantly shoved all in for 94,000.

The button then tanked for a few minutes before releasing his hand as Black dragged in the pot.

"I'll tell you mine if you tell me yours," Black said. His opponent said he folded ace-queen, while Black admitted to having jacks.

On the     flop, the big blind check-called Ku for 15,000. The turn was the   and after another check, Ku sent 45,000 into the pot. It was enough for his opponent who let it go.

Ryan Riess Runs Out of Chips

Ryan Riess

Ryan Riess, who won the 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event, has been eliminated from the main event this year.

According to his tablemates, he got the last of his chips in preflop with pocket queens in a classic flip against his opponent's ace-king. The runout was favorable to Riess' opponent and he was sent to the rail ten years after winning this same event.

Botfeld Gets a Fold from Deffrasnes

David Botfeld raised in the hijack to 8,000 and got called by Kenny Deffrasnes on the button and the big blind.

The flop gave     and it checked to Deffrasnes who bet 8,000. Only Botfeld stayed interested and called.

Fhima bet out 9,000 on a board of    . His opponent elected to see a turn.
