Cong Pham returned from dinner break as the short stack and pushed all in for 3,500,000 from under the gun. Jan-Peter Jachtmann just called on his left and the rest of the table folded.

Maceiras Lapido Puts Weinman in a Blender

Juan Maceiras Lapido

Juan Maceiras Lapido raised to 1,000,000 from under the gun and was called by Daniel Weisman and Joe Ghio in the blinds.

The flop came     and action checked to Maceiras Lapido who bet another 1,500,000. Only Weinman called to the   turn.

Maceiras Lapido then bet another 4,500,000 and Weinman again called. The   fell on the river and Weinman checked once more. Maceiras Lapido quickly moved all in, sending Weinman deep into the tank as he considered the call for his last 14,100,000.

Weinman spent nearly three minutes agonizing over the call with his Main Event life on the line before deciding to fold.

Maceiras Lapido Enters a World of Payne

Juan Maceiras Lapido opened to 1,000,000 from the hijack and Joshua Payne three-bet to 2,700,000 from the cutoff. Maceiras Lapido called.

Maceiras Lapido checked on the flop of     and Payne continued for 1,500,000. Maceiras Lapido called. Maceiras Lapido checked again on the   turn and Payne bet 4,500,000. Maceiras Lapido laid it down.

Walton Wins Big Pot Off Jones

Steven Jones limped the small blind and called a raise to 1,125,000 by Adam Walton, which led them to the     flop. Jones opted to check-call for 1,050,000 and did so again for 2,200,000 on the   turn.

Jones then bet the   river for 5,500,000 and had barely announced the bet when Walton already beat him into the pot.

Jones tabled his    and Walton had that beat with the    for broadway.

Andrey Pateychuk then raised to 1,000,000 and Daniel Holzner defended his big blind, but check-folded the     flop to a continuation bet.

Jones opened to 1,000,000 soon after and Anirban Das three-bet to 3,250,000 on the button. The call by Jones followed which led them to the     flop. Jones checked, Das bet 1,600,000 and that ended the resistance of Jones right there.

Ghio Coolers Prydryk For a Double

Joe Ghio raised to 1,200,000 from the hijack and Ruslan Prydryk called in the big blind.

The flop came     and Prydryk checked over to Ghio and he bet another 1,000,000. Prydryk came back with a raise to 3,500,000 and Ghio called.

Prydryk led out for 7,500,000 on the   turn and Ghio then moved all in for 11,100,000. Prydryk snap-called with    for two pair, but Ghio had turned a straight holding   .

The   on the river was safe for Ghio and he doubled up off the previously unbeatable Prydryk.

O'Neill Gets Away with a Four-Bet

Jack O'Neill opened to 1,000,000 from under the gun with   . Sachin Joshi three-bet to 2,650,000 on his left with   . Jan-Peter Jachtmann flat-called with    in the cutoff, and the action folded back to O'Neill, who four-bet to 7,500,000.

Joshi folded, and Jachtmann tanked for a couple of minutes before following suit.

Daniel Scroggins Eliminated in 21st Place ($345,000)

Daniel Scroggins

Daniel Holzner raised to 1,000,000 from middle position and Daniel Scroggins jammed for just over 5,000,000 from the big blind. Holzner called quickly and the cards were turned up.

On the first hand following the dinner break, Joe Ghio raised to 1,250,000 from the small blind and Juan Maceiras Lapido called.

Two Barrels by Jones

Steven Jones raised to 900,000 in the cutoff and was called by Daniel Holzner in the big blind.

The flop came     and Holzner check-called for 800,000. Both headed to the   turn on which Holzner check-folded to a larger barrel of 2,100,000.

On a later hand, Andrey Pateychuk made it 800,000 to go and Ryan Tamanini defended his big blind. Tamanini check-called for 400,000 on the     flop before the   turn was checked. He then carefully counted his stack and bet 1,900,000 on the   river, Pateychuk snap-folded.

One more hand was to be played on the outer table and that one saw an open shove by Daniel Scroggins from under the gun, which won the blinds and big blind ante.

Prydryk Semi-Bluffs Maceiras Off Top Pair

Juan Maceiras Lapido raised to 800,000 under the gun and Ruslan Prydryk attempted to continue his recent hot streak by calling in the cutoff.

The flop came     and Maceiras bet 1,000,000. Prydryk immediately put in a raise to 3,500,000.

Maceiras Lapido tanked for more than a minute before open-mucking    for top pair. Prydryk showed him    for a flush draw as he took the pot heading into the dinner break.

Eric Schneider raised to 800,000 from under the gun and Ruslan Prydryk called in the small blind.

The flop came     and Schneider bet another 800,000. Prydryk called, then checked the   turn.

Schneider continued with a bet of 3,000,000 before Prydryk raised to 8,000,000. Schneider then moved all in for 11,900,000 and Prydryk snap-called.

Schneider turned over    for top set, but Prydryk had    for the turned straight. Schneider needed the board to pair to stay alive in the Main Event, but he instead saw the dealer flip over the   and send him crashing out in 22nd place.

Prydryk Doesn't Back Down from Payne

Josh Payne raised to 800,000 on the button and Ruslan Prydryk called in the big blind.

The flop came     and Payne continued for 650,000. Prydryk called and checked again on the   turn.

Payne then fired out another 4,600,000 and Prydryk quickly slid forward the chips to call. The   fell on the river and Prydryk checked for a third time.

Payne bet 10,500,000 this time and Prydryk snap-called. Payne was caught bluffing with   , while Prydryk showed    for two pair on the river to take the massive pot.

Ruslan Prydryk opened to 800,000 with    before Dean Hutchison made it 2,400,000 with   . Juan Maceiras Lapido four-bet to 7,000,000 from the button. Prydryk got out of the way but Hutchison called.

The     flop and   turn checked through to the   river. Hutchison checked for a third time before his opponent bet 8,000,000. Hutchison went into the tank and opted to fold.
