Walton Jams Into Holzner

Adam Walton raised to 1,200,000 out of the hijack and Daniel Holzner on the button three-bet to 3,400,000, earning a very swift call by Walton within just a few seconds.

The     flop was checked by Walton and he then called Holzner's bet of 2,200,000 as they headed to the   turn. Walton checked again and Holzner made it 5,700,000 to go. Walton moved all-in and Holzner snap-folded.

Jones Chips Up in Showdown

Andrey Pateychuk raised to 1,200,000 and earned calls from Steven Jones in the cutoff as well as Daniel Holzner in the big blind. They checked all the way to the       river on which Holzner checked.

Pateychuk bet 1,500,000 for Jones to call and the Italian folded. Pateychuk flashed the    but Jones won the pot with the    for a king-high straight.

Hulme Makes the Wrong Call, All But Out

Andrew Hulme opened to 1,200,000 from under the gun and Alec Torelli defended from the big blind. The flop came     and both players checked to the   on the turn.

Torelli checked again and Hulme fired out a bet of 1,900,000. Torelli called and the   completed the board. Torelli checked for the third time and Hulme put together a bet of 5,400,000. Torelli check-raised all in, putting Hulme to the test for his stack of 12,900,000.

Hulme leaned back in his chair in disbelief while Torelli rested his head on the rail. Hulme felt the heat as he took his sweater off before calling after three minutes. Torelli showed    for a straight while Hulme was left with    for top two pair.

Joe Ghio Eliminated in 19th Place ($345,000)

Joe Ghio moved all in for 11,700,000 from early position and Juan Maceiras Lapido tanked for a moment before calling in the cutoff. The rest of the table got out of the way.

Ghio was looking for a king to keep his Main Event hopes alive but none arrived on the     flop. Maceiras Lapido spiked the last queen in the deck on the   turn and Ghio was already drawing dead by the   river, sending him to the rail in 19th place.

Joshua Payne again raised to 1,200,000, this time from under the gun, and Juan Maceiras Lapido called in the big blind.

The flop came     and Payne continued for 1,100,000. Maceiras Lapido called to the   turn where he checked.

Payne then checked behind to the   river and Maceiras Lapido checked again. Payne also checked and showed    for a rivered pair of queens to win the pot.

Payne Bets Out Prydryk

Joshua Payne raised to 1,200,000 from the button and Ruslan Prydryk called in the big blind.

The flop came     and Payne continued for 1,100,000. Prydryk called and both players checked the   turn.

Prydryk also checked the   river before Payne fired out 3,500,000. Prydryk instantly leaned back in his chair and tanked for more than a minute before giving up his hand.

Dean Hutchison opened to 1,200,000 on the button and Joe Ghio defended out of the big blind.

Ghio checked on the flop of     and Hutchison continued for 725,000. Ghio laid it down.

Torelli Gets Short and Doubles

Alec Torelli raised to 1,200,000 in the cutoff and Jack O'Neill called from the big blind. The flop came     and O'Neill checked to Torelli who bet 750,000. O'Neill made a small check-raise to 1,800,000 and Torelli forfeited his hand.

On the next hand, Torelli raised to 1,200,000 again and O'Neill shoved all in from the small blind. Torelli called off his stack of 6,480,000 and the cards were tabled.

Andrey Pateychuk raised to 1,200,000 on the button. Steven Jones three-bet to 4,000,000 in the small blind and took it down.

Pateychuk opened to the same amount one hand later, picking up calls from Jones, Adam Walton and Anirban Das. The     flop checked through to Pateychuk, who bet 1,200,000. Only Walton called and they checked the   turn as well as the   river. Walton turned over    and won the pot.

Jones then raised to 1,200,000 for Walton to call. The     flop brought a bet of 1,000,000 by Jones and the call by Walton.

Jones also bet the   turn for 3,100,000 and Walton reluctantly folded after a sip from his Fiji water bottle.

Pateychuk and Holzner Get Shoves Through

Steven Jones raised to 1,000 from the under-the-gun position and Andrey Pateychuk three-bet to 4,200,000 out of the big blind, earning a call from Jones after short consideration.

The     flop saw Pateychuk continue for 4,000,000 and Jones stuck around to the   turn. Pateychuk moved all-in for 12,450,000 and Jones reluctantly folded.

Daniel Holzner made it 1,000,000 to go and Pateychuk put his newly acquired chips to use with a three-bet to 3,000,000 in the cutoff. Holzner then four-bet jammed and Pateychuk snap-folded.

Anirban Das continues his recent surge by winning two pots in a row to pull further away from the bottom of the leaderboard.

Jachtmann Gets the Best of Torelli...Twice

Alec Torelli opened to 1,000,000 from under the gun and Jan-Peter Jachtmann three-bet to 3,000,000 in the big blind. Torelli called and the dealer spread the flop of    .

Both players checked and the   landed on the turn. Jachtmann counted out a bet of 3,300,000 and Torelli instantly folded.

On the next hand, Jachtmann limped in from the small blind and Torelli checked the big blind. The flop came     and Jachtmann check-called a bet of 500,000 from Torelli.

Maceiras Lapido Sends Aguilera Deep in the Tank

Juan Maceiras Lapido raised to 1,000,000 from the button and Jose Aguilera defended in the big blind.

The flop came     and Maceiras Lapido continued for another 1,000,000. Aguilera called to the   turn, where he checked over to Maceiras Lapido who fired out 2,500,000.

Aguilera called again and the   fell on the river. Aguilera checked and Maceiras Lapido then put in a bet of 8,000,000, sending Aguilera deep into the tank.

More than five minutes came off the clock as Aguilera considered the decision. Maceiras Lapido sat motionless, partially covering his face with the collar of his jacket, while Aguilera continued to tank.

Aguilera eventually put in a call and Maceiras Lapido turned over    for two pair, which was enough to win the big pot.

Das Defeats Deuces for a Double

Steven Jones raised to 1,000,000 from the cutoff and Adam Walton called from the button before Anirban Das jammed 7,700,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Jones followed him into the muck before Walton called to put Das at risk.
