David Miscikowski (6,085,000) nabbed the title of chip leader from Matt Berkey (5,430,000) in the last level of play before chips were bagged for the night. Rounding out the top five were Thomas MacDonald (3,935,000), Sebastien Aube (3,100,000) and Nicholas Vayssieres (3,100,000).

With three former bracelet winners and many accomplished players still in, Day 3 will be an action-packed day as the remaining 22 contenders battle it out for the bracelet and the lion's share of the prize pool.

Play resumed in Level 16 today and shortly into Level 17, hand-for-hand play began with 208 players to determine the bubble with 205 spots being paid. On the very first hand, three different tables had knockouts. With those three immediately gone, the remaining players were in the money and there was a loud cheer knowing they had made it.

The field slimmed down quickly afterwards with many notables busting out and taking home a piece of the pot. The final players will resume at 2:00 p.m. and play until a champion is crowned. Stay tuned to PokerNews for live reports on all of the action throughout the day.
