Trevino Snaps With Kings

Cedrric Trevino raised to 265,000 from under the gun and received calls by Michael Duek, Evan Krentzman, and David Levine on the button.

"Shaping up," tablemate Jon Gisler said as they went four-handed to the     flop. Trevino checked to Duek who bet 450,000. Krentzman and Levine got out of the way, but Trevino called.

Both players checked the   on the turn and Trevino checked once more on the   river. Duek bet around 800,000 and Trevino instantly threw in a chip signifying a call.

"Come on," a frustrated Duek said as he showed    for just king-high. Trevino turned over    for a pair of kings to take down the pot.

Krentzman Pips Levine for a Double Up

Michael Duek opened to 240,000 in the cutoff and Evan Krentzman jammed all in for 2,380,000 on the button. David Levine gave it some thought from the small blind and eventually pushed out a call. Duek quickly folded and the two hands were tabled.

Rosa Scores a Double Through Blazevich

The action commenced with a raise to 250,000 by Cameron Blazevich and he then faced a three-bet to 750,000 by Jonathan Rosa. What followed was the four-bet shove by Blazevich and Rosa called instantly, triggering some cheers from his nearby rail.

The rail of Blazevich was now chanting for a queen but switched to clubs on the     flop and   turn. Another black card followed on the river but it was the   for Rosa to double. He was at risk for 3,420,000 and pulled ahead of Blazevich on the leaderboard.

Aldemir's Title Defense Comes to an End

Reed Escapes with a Double

Robert Reed shipped all in for 685,000 in early position and Aaron Mermelstein called from the small blind. The big blind folded and the two hands were tabled.

Madan Raises Blazevich Off a Set

On a board of     , Mayank Madan bet 360,000 in middle position before Cameron Blazevich raised to 2,000,000 from the button.

Madan came back with a re-raise to 5,860,000, sending Blazevich into the tank for several minutes. He eventually folded, showing two sixes for a flopped set as Madan took the big pot.

Rastogi Doubles Through Conniff

The action started with a min-raise to 240,000 by Vadim Rozin and Asher Conniff then three-bet to 700,000. Rahul Rastogi four-bet jammed for 1,635,000 and Rozin folded while Conniff asked for an exact count to then call.

Su Picks Off Dobric

Matthew Su raised to 250,000 from the button as big stack Matija Dobric defended in the big blind.

The flop came     and Dobric checked over to Su, who continued for 200,000. Dobric called, then lead out for 280,000 on the   turn.

Su called as the river came  . Dobric this time tossed out a bet of 120,000 and Su snap-called.

Dobric showed    for a pair of sixes, but Su had him beat with    to take a bit off Dobric's massive tower of chips.

One hand later, Seungmook Jung made it 250,000 to go and Damian Salas pushed all-in for what appeared to be 2,635,000. Jung shook his head and said "too much", sending his cards into the muck while Salas smiled, raked in the pot and joked "short stack ninja!".

Johnson Outflips Tong To Score Knockout

Kristopher Tong opened to 1,350,000 from middle position leaving himself just 30,000 behind. Marco Johnson then moved all in out of the small blind and Tong tossed in his few remaining chips to put himself at risk.

"I haven't been all in this entire tournament," remarked Tong as he prepared to flip for his tournament life. The     flop immediately left Tong drawing extremely thin although he did pick up a gutshot to broadway on the   turn. The   river bricked out, however, sending Tong to the rail.

Bittar Exerts Big Stack Pressure

William Nunley raised to 250,000 from early position and was called by Jimmy Setna on the button. In the big blind, Kamal Bittar re-raised to 875,000 and only Nunley called.

Both players checked the     flop before Bittar continued for 750,000 on the   turn.

Nunley called to see the   on the river. Bittar this time pushed out 3,100,000, sending Nunley into the tank as cameras began to surround the table with a big pot brewing.

"Show the bluff for the cameras," Nunley said before sliding his cards into the muck. Bittar, though, returned his cards face down as he extended his chip lead.

Turner Four-Bet Jams River on Mermelstein

George Turner opened to 240,000 in the cutoff and Aaron Mermelstein defended the big blind.

The dealer spread the     flop, Mermelstein check-called for 150,000, and both players checked the   turn.

The   completed the board, Mermelstein led for 125,000, and Turner thought for some time before raising to 450,000. Mermelstein took a while before sliding in another raise to 1,525,000, and Turner moved all in for 3,730,000 after some deliberation. Mermelstein tanked, but ultimately let go of his hand to concede the pot without a showdown.

Two Double-Ups in a Row

A short-stacked Jonathan Rosa was in dire shape when he got it in preflop with the    against the    of Igor Ioffe. However, the board ran out       and Rosa rivered a flush.

Shortly after, Dingxiang Ong raised to 240,000 and then called the shove by Mack Khan for just over 1.4 million in a battle cutoff versus button.

A player in middle position opened to 250,000 and was called by David Levine in the small blind. Shijia Liu then moved all in out of the big blind, eliciting a fold from the initial raiser. Levine did not appear happy with the situation but did make the call with the bigger stack to put Liu at risk.

Jeffrey Farnes opened to 275,000 from under the gun and Jack Allen was on the short stack in the cutoff. With the clock reading 81 players remaining, Allen went into the tank, hoping for a pay jump. He eventually slid out a raise to 850,000, leaving just 5,000 chips behind. Farnes called and they headed to a flop of    .
