Daniel Zack completed and kept betting on fourth street, with Funkhouser calling both bets.

Zack bet again on fifth as Funkhouser took his time before calling once again. The same action was repeated on sixth, with Zack betting and Funkhouser pondering the decision for a moment before flicking in the chips to call.

Zack slowed down and checked on seventh before Funkhouser paused and checked back.

"Full house," Zack said, turning over     for deuces full of kings to win the pot.

Zack checked on fifth, allowing Funkhouser to take the lead with a bet. Zack called, then called another bet on sixth. Both players checked seventh.

Zack flipped over the   for trip sevens and Funkhouser mucked.

The players have agreed to play on through the next scheduled break.

Fourth street was checked by both players. The following streets saw Funkhouser bet each one and Zack called him up to seventh street where Zack called him again. "Aces-up," declared Funkhouser turning over     and Zack nodded, tossing his hand into the muck.

Daniel Zack opened the pot by completing before David Funkhouser raised. Zack called that bet and another on fourth street.

Funkhouser kept up the betting on fifth and sixth, with Zack calling through to seventh. Zack checked his queen, and Funkhouser bet again.

Zack took his time before tossing in the chips to call.

"Wheel and a low," Funkhouser said, turning over     to scoop the pot as Zack asked the dealer to spread out Funkhouser's board before he mucked.

David Funkhouser posted the bring in with a   up and Daniel Zack called with a   up, with Ziya Rahim calling behind him with a   up for his remaining chips.

Funkhouser bet on fourth street and Zack quickly folded his hand leaving the other two to expose their hands. Rahim was ahead initially with his queen high, but the fifth street eight gave Funkhouser an eight-six low and the sixth street two gave Funkhouser a straight and a six-five low, leaving Rahim drawing dead for either half of the pot.

Rahim shook hands with both of his opponents as the two remaining players geared up to play their heads up match for a bracelet.

Zack Leaves Rahim With Crumbs

Ziya Rahim completed and received a call from Daniel Zack.

Zack took the lead on fourth street and Rahim called, then called more bets on fifth and streets.

On seventh, Zack put out another bet and Rahim went into the tank for about a minute before gathering most of his stack in a pile and sliding it forward.

"Full house," Zack announced, turning over    .

Rahim jumped out of his chair in frustration before mucking his cards. "Bigger full house, you mean," he told Zack as he finally sat back down, his stack decimated to less than 100,000.

Funkhouser bet his pair of threes on fourth street and fifth street which Zack called both times. On sixth street, Funkhouser checked to Zack who bet and was quickly called. On seventh street, Funkhouser checked once more and Zack bet and got a quick call. "Kings up," declared Zack as he turned over     for kings and fives which was good for the pot as Zack won a much needed pot.

While Ziya Rahim was sending messages to Daniel Zack's girlfriend through the live stream about what a great guy he is and how he's going to cut back on poker, Zack called after David Funkhouser completed.

Funkhouser bet again on fourth and Zack called. Zack then folded to a bet on fifth street to fall to just over 1,000,000.

Both players checked on seventh and Funkhouser declared "one pair," before turning over     for a pair of nines. Rahim nodded and mucked his cards, giving Funkhouser the whole pot.

"First Blood," Zack commented while Funkhouser raked in the pot.

"Welcome to the Dan Zack show," Ziya Rahim said as Zack took the first several pots of the day.

It would be Rahim who would put an end to that streak.

Three Remain in Hunt for $10,000 Seven Card Stud 8 or Better Championship

An 11-hour Day 3 full of trash talking and slow rolling wasn't enough to reach a conclusion of Event #40: $10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship.

David Funkhouser, Ziya Rahim, and Daniel Zack will return to play today on an extra Day 4 beginning at 3 p.m. local time inside the Bally's Event Center. Funkhouser, looking for his first World Series of Poker bracelet, has the chip lead with 3,455,000.

Rahim, also chasing his first taste of WSOP glory, is in second place with 2,545,000. Zack is no stranger to marathon sessions, having survived one to win his second bracelet in the $10,000 Omaha 8 or Better event earlier this series, but has his work cut out for him as the short stack with 2,230,000.

Play will begin in Level 25, with limits of 100,000-200,000. Levels will continue to be 90-minutes long.

At the end of this extra day, there will be only one who made it to the finish line of this marathon and who can call themselves the Stud 8 or Better Champion and take home the $324,174 top prize.
