On fourth street, Funkhouser checked over to Zack who bet and Funkhouser called.

Fifth and sixth street saw Funkhouser check-call twice more against Zack.

On seventh street, Zack bet and Funkhouser went into the tank. "I don't think I can call with this card," he lamented as he thought about his decision. After some time he tossed his hand into the muck and Zack put lots of distance between himself and Funkhouser.

Daniel Zack completed, then called when David Funkhouser raised. Zack again called on fourth before both players checked fifth.

Funkhouser put out another bet on sixth and Zack called. When Funkhouser bet again on seventh, Zack gave an exasperated sigh and folded his cards.

"I don't think this is going to be the last hand of the tournament. Unless you do something crazy," Funkhouser said as the next hand was dealt.

On seventh street, Funkhouser checked once more to Zack who bet and was met with a fold from Funkhouser.

With that pot, Zack regained the tournament chip lead.

David Funkhouser completed and bet on fourth street, with Daniel Zack calling both bets.

Zack led out upon drawing an ace on fifth and Funkhouser called. Both players checked down sixth and seventh.

Zack showed     for a pair of sevens, and that was good enough to win the pot.

Alluding to his marathon heads-up match against Dustin Dirksen earlier this series, Zack had a warning for Funkhouser.

"It was at this point that I had him 30-1 and it ended up going another six hours," Zack said.

"I don't think it's going another six hours," Funkhouser replied.

Zack checked to Funkhouser who bet and Zack called on fourth street.

Funkhouser and Zack both checked their hands down all subsequent streets and on seventh street, when all checking was done, Zack indicated that all he had was the pair of twos on the board. Funkhouser turned over     for a pair of threes to take a pot down.

After the first few pots after coming back from break were won uncontested ("Off to a thrilling start," Daniel Zack joked), David Funkhouser has opened up a lead after the most recent hand.

Zack completed and Funkhouser called before Funkhouser bet on fourth. Zack called, then called two more bets on fifth and sixth.

Both players checked on seventh as Zack announced he had a pair of eights. Funkhouser, though, showed    for two pair to win the pot.
