Tyler Gaston Leads Final Five into the Day 5 Finale of the Millionaire Maker

Day 4 of Event #37: $1,500 Millionaire Maker No-Limit Hold'em saw 24 players start the day and only five players make it to the fifth and final day. Action will resume on Wednesday at 4 p.m. local time and although the five remaining players have locked up $301,346, they will all be looking to win the WSOP gold bracelet and the $1,125,141 first-place prize that awaits one of them.
Leading the charge is Tyler Gaston, who is searching for his first career bracelet win and is in great position to do so with 64,000,000 chips. Right on his heels is Yuliyan Kolev, a 2021 Online WSOP bracelet winner, who will be looking for his second as he bagged 58,300,000 chips.

There was tons of action Day 4 as the 24 remaining players duked it out to make it through the day. The first to be eliminated was Tri Dao when he ran his pocket eights into Kevin Houghton's queen-ten and was rivered by a ten. Vito DiStefano also had a great run, especially when he cracked Linus Richter's pocket aces with king-ten when he hit a full house for a big pot.
Ironically, he was knocked out in 17th place when he ran seven-eight into Kolev's king-ten and the board favored the Bulgarian player with a king. But none of the action can compare to the number of knockouts Gaston acquired. He ended the day with six eliminations, and at one point he had three times that of the second-place chip leader.
Play resumes at 4 p.m. local time Wednesday, June 22nd, and will be streamed on PokerGO on a one-hour delay. Play will start with about 26 minutes left in Level 36 with blinds at 600,000/1,200,000.
Be sure to keep up with the PokerNews team as they will be bringing you all the updates from the floor of the 2022 World Series of Poker in its new home at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas.
