Wasserson Bests Deeb Before Dinner

Eric Wasserson raised blind on blind and Shaun Deeb called.

Wasserson drew three and Deeb drew one. Wasserson check-called and drew two. Deeb drew one.

Again, Wasserson check-called a bet and both players drew one. Wasserson bet and Deeb called.

"Eight," said Wasserson.

"Eight what?" asked Deeb. Wasserson showed       and Deeb opened       with a smile.

Wasserson Makes a Wheel Against Zack

Daniel Zack raised and Eric Wasserson re-raised out of the small blind. Zack called. Wasserson drew one and Zack drew two.

Wasserson bet and Zack called. Both players drew one and Wasseron check-called a bet.

Wasserson drew one and Zack stood pat. Wasserson bet and Zack called.

"Wheel," said Wasserson showing      . "I started      . Finally got the deuce-three-five-seven again. It's been a while."

"Come on Stinger!" said Eric Wasserson with Brian Hastings still to act after the third draw. His opponent was Shaun Deeb.

"Is it collusion if other players are rooting against me?" Deeb asked the floor.

Hastings then bet and Deeb then raised. Hastings eventually mucked.

"Show the bluff," said Wasserson, but Deeb could only table      

"How joyous must it be to get bet into with a wheel," said Wasserson.

"How joyous to make a wheel and have you rooting against me," replied Deeb.

Johnson Gets There

Marco Johnson opened on the button and Eric Wasserson called out of the small blind.

Both players took two cards on the first draw. Wasserson then checked to Johnson, who continued his aggression with a bet. Wasserson made the call to send the two players to the second draw.

On the second draw, Wasserson again took two while Johnson drew just one. Wasserson checked for a second time and Johnson, in no mood to slow down, threw out a bet. Almost before the chips hit the felt, Wasserson announced call.

Wasserson stood pat on the final draw and checked to Johnson after he took one. Johnson considered for a moment before firing off a third barrel. Wasserson called but was shown       by Johnson, who had outdrawn his opponent.

On the final draw Zack stood pat again and Hastings drew one. Zack bet and Hastings raised. Zack called but was shown the       for a wheel by Hastings.

Zack Wins Three-Way Pot

Eric Wasserson opened under the gun and was three-bet by Daniel Zack on the button. Brian Hastings called out of the small blind as did Wasserson to send the action three-way to the initial draw.

Hastings took two on the first draw while Wasserson and Zack each drew one. Action then checked through to the second draw where the same drawing pattern was repeated. Action was checked to Zack, who led out. His bet was enough to get Hastings to fold but Wasserson was not yet prepared to let go of his hand.

Wasserson drew one on the final draw and then checked to Zack after he stood pat. Zack checked behind and tabled      . Wasserson mucked and Zack scooped a sizable pot.

Zack Finds a Fold

Action folded around to Daniel Zack in the small blind who raised Brian Hastings' big blind. Hastings made the call to send the two players to the initial draw.

On the first draw, Zack took two cards while Hastings drew three. Zack then check-called a bet from Hastings.

During the second draw, Zack drew two cards and Hastings only took one. Zack checked for a second time and then called after Hastings fired off another bet.

Zack took one card on the final draw and Hastings stood pat. Zack then led out only to see Hastings raise. After thinking for a fair amount of time, Zack eventually released his hand.

Deeb Puts a Dent in Zack's Stack

Blind on blind Shaun Deeb drew three and Daniel Zack drew two. Deeb bet and Zack called.

Deeb drew one and Zack two. Deeb bet again and Zack called. The draws repeated and Zack once again called a bet from Deeb.

Deeb tabled       for a nine-perfect and Zack mucked.

"I made a jack," said Zack, who still remains above two million in chips.

Jordan Siegel Eliminated in 6th Place ($52,854)

Daniel Zack opened on the button and received a sole call from Jordan Siegel out of the big blind.

On the first draw, Siegel took two cards to Zack's one and then checked to the initial raiser, who continued. Siegel made the call, leaving himself with less than a big bet behind.

The players repeated the same drawing pattern during the second draw, after which Siegel checked to Zack, who bet enough to put his opponent all in. Siegel called off for his tournament life.

Siegel took two on the final draw while Zack stood pat. Zack turned over       and Siegel revealed he held    . He was drawing live, that is until he peeled   , ending his tournament in 6th place.
