Event #28: $50,000 HIGH ROLLER Pot-Limit Omaha

After stealing the blinds and big blind ante in the very first hand, Jared Bleznick raised the pot in the second hand. Dash Dudley repotted and Bleznick moved all-in for around 2.1 million to get called by Dudley.

With just one live suit, Bleznick was in dire shape as Dudley also held one of the kings in his hand as well. There were no shenanigans on the       board and Bleznick became the first casualty on the final day. For his efforts, the sports cards enthusiasts receives $342,626.

A seven-figure payday and the coveted gold bracelet will be awarded today at the 2022 World Series of Poker at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas. Out of a field of 106 entries in Event #28: $50,000 Pot-Limit Omaha High Roller, only five players remain and three of them already have already tasted success at the WSOP in previous years.

Three Americans will aim to keep the victory on home soil while two Europeans are aiming to become the latest WSOP bracelet winner. Bulgaria's Veselin Karakitukov leads the pursuit for the lion's share of the $5,074,750 prize pool and enters the final day with a stack of 9,755,000. The 32-year-old is a PLO specialist and the same can also be said about the UK's Robert Cowen as well, who sits in third place with 7,935,000.

Both Karakitukov and Cowen were referred to as "GTO players" by eventual 7th place finisher Aaron Katz on numerous occasions in the late stages on Day 2. Cowen also has the chance to double his tally after winning the maiden WSOP bracelet in Event #80: $3,000 6-Handed Pot-Limit Omaha just half a year ago in Las Vegas.

The 2011 WSOP Player of the Year and one-time WSOP bracelet winner Ben Lamb has reached his sixth WSOP final table in an Omaha variant and will enter second in chips with 8,215,000, narrowly ahead of Cowen as the trio atop the leaderboard has a significant gap over the other two finalists.

Dash Dudley has two WSOP bracelets on his poker resume and they both came in PLO tournaments at the 2019 WSOP in Las Vegas and the WSOPE at the King's Resort in Rozvadov later in the same year. He starts the bid for a third career bracelet with 4,185,000 in chips, which represents 28 big blinds.

Last but not least, Jared Bleznick returns with 1,690,000 in chips and enters as the bottom stack on just 11 big blinds.

Seat Assignments for the Final Day

There are 18:53 minutes left in Level 26 at blinds of 75,000-150,000 and a big blind ante of 150,000 when the action resumes on the main feature table in the Bally's Event Center at 4pm local time. The cards-up coverage will be available on the PokerGO platform with a delay of 45 minutes to one hour and all PokerNews updates will be published according to the security delay.

All five finalists have locked up a payday of at least $342,626, which is already the largest payday for current chip leader Karakitukov. The eventual winner can look forward to a top prize of nearly $1.4 million and the PokerNews team will provide exclusive updates from start to finish.
