Action folded to Dominick Sarle in the small blind who raised and was called by big blind John Monnette.

Both players drew three and Monnette called a bet, then got the rest of his 80,000 in the middle after the second draw. Sarle stood pat and showed a 9-7, while Monnette drew one and flipped over a jack before quickly making his way to the payout desk.

He bet and Wong called to the second draw, with Sarle standing pat again and putting out another bet. Wong called and took one, while Sarle patted again.

Wong paused for a moment after Sarle bet after the third draw before calling. "Seven," Sarle said, showing      to win the first big pot after the break and cut into Wong's chip lead.

Sarle Takes Last Pot Before Break

Dominick Sarle raised from under the gun and called when Jerry Wong re-raised from the small blind. Sarle called and both players took two.

Wong bet and Sarle called as each drew one, with Sarle calling another bet. Wong stood pat and bet again.

"I have a six," Sarle said, showing 6-5-4-2-A. Wong could only shrug and muck his cards as players headed off for break.

Jerry Wong raised from the button and Dominick Sarle defended his big blind.

Wong stood pat and bet again, with Sarle calling and leaving himself only around 50,000 behind. Wong patted again, Sarle took one, and they got the rest of his chips in.

Sarle took one more on the final draw. "Eight perfect," he announced, showing 8-5-4-3-2. Wong mucked to award another double up, this time to Sarle.

Monnette Doubles Again

John Monnette raised from the button and Jerry Wong re-raised from the small blind. Monnette four-bet and Wong asked how many chips he had behind, around 350,000, before five-betting.

Monnette called and they both stood pat. Wong bet and Monnette called before they got the rest of Monnette's 30,000 in the middle after the second draw.

Monnette turned over      for a Badugi to secure another double up and continue his rapid comeback.

Daniel Strelitz raised before John Monnette shoved the rest of his stack in the middle. Strelitz called.

Monnette took one on all three draws, while Strelitz drew two until the last draw when he took one. He opened up 8-7-5-3-2.

Monnette was showing 6-5-4-A and needed to improve on his last card. "It's a no-spot club, so I think I'm good," he said before flipping over a three, securing a double-up of his short stack.

Jerry Wong is an unstoppable force in this tournament at the moment, opening up a massive chip lead after two encounters with Daniel Strelitz.

In the first, Strelitz three-bet before Wong four-bet. Strelitz called and took one while Wong stood pat and bet.

Strelitz called and took one again. Wong bet again, but this time Strelitz raised. Wong called, and they both checked after the third draw. Wong opened up      for a Badugi to win the pot.

On the next hand, Wong three-bet and went heads-up with Strelitz to the second draw. Strelitz raised a bet and Wong called before they both checked after standing pat.

Sarle bet again and Schreiber called. Sarle then stood pat and bet before Schreiber, who took two, came back with a raise.

Sarle called and patted again. Both players checked.
