Foxen Wins First Pot of the Day

Alex Foxen raised to 425,000 from under the gun and the action folded to David Miscikowski in the big blind who made the call.

The flop came    , Miscikowski check-called the 275,000 continuation-bet of Foxen.

They both checked through the   on the turn to the   on the river. Miscikowski checked for the final time. Foxen took some time and fired a bet of 1,125,000 out to send Miscikowski into the tank.

A staredown commenced until Miscikowski showed a little smile and Foxen cracked too.

In the end, Miscikowski folded.

"Big fold?" Foxen asked.

"yeah..." Miscikowski replied.

"Good fold," Foxen said.

Shuffle Up and Deal

The nine players have taken their seats and the dealer has been instructed to shuffle up and deal with just over 55 minutes left of Level 31.

There was a short delay to the start as the 500,000-value chips have into play to reduce the number of chips on the table.

Nine players return at noon local time here at the 2022 WSOP at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas to play down to one champion in Event #16: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em, with three former bracelet winners battling to add to their collection.

At the top of the counts is David Miscikowski with 9,800,000 in chips, he is joined by Stefan Lehner (7,135,000) and Nathan Russler with 7,065,000 in the top three at the start of the day.

When the players return, they will resume Level 31 with a small blind of 100,000, a big blind of 200,000, and a big blind ante of 200,000. The level duration will remain at 60 minutes each with a break after every two levels.
