Hellmuth Pots Two Flops in a Row

Phil Hellmuth opened in the cutoff and Laszlo Bujtas defended from the big blind. Hellmuth announced "pot" on the nine-high flop and Bujtas snap-folded.

The very next hand, Hellmuth opened to 350,000 in the hijack and Jeremy Ausmus came along from the big blind.

Like clockwork, Hellmuth announced "pot" when checked to on the     flop and Ausmus quickly folded.

"That was exciting! Two in a row! Woo-hoo-hoo!" Hellmuth said as he rubbed his hands together.

Josh Arieh opened in middle position and Alexander Petersen defended from the big blind.

Petersen checked on the flop of     and Arieh moved all-in for around 315,000. Petersen called.

Petersen had a king-high flush to have Arieh in bad shape, but the   on the turn created a slight sweat as Arieh had full house outs. Sadly for the WSOP Player of the Year favorite, the river brought the   and he was eliminated in sixth place.

Negreanu Climbing Higher

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu raised to 200,000 from early position and Josh Arieh called from the big blind. The flop came    , and Arieh check-called a bet of 260,000.

On the   turn, Negreanu bet another 640,000 and Arieh threw his hand in the muck.

The next hand, Negreanu raised to 200,000 once again and Jared Bleznick defended. Negreanu bet 275,000 on a flop of     before Bleznick check-raised to 650,000.

Negreanu called to see the   on the turn. Bleznick checked, allowing Negreanu to slam in a tower of 100,000 chips. Bleznick quickly folded.

Bleznick Raises Out Bujtas

Laszlo Bujtas opened in late position and Jared Bleznick flat-called on the button.

Bujtas checked on the flop of     and Bleznick checked back. Bujtas bet 150,000 on the   turn and Bleznick responded with a raise to 500,000. Bujtas quickly folded.

Ausmus Doubles Up

Action folded to Laszlo Bujtas in the small blind and he raised to 240,000. Jeremy Ausmus defended his big blind and they saw a flop of    .

Bujtas bet 560,000, Ausmus went all in for a little more, and Bujtas called.

A hand after the elimination of Veselin Karakitukov, Daniel Negreanu raised to 250,000 from the button, Ben Lamb re-raised in the small blind, Negreanu quickly announced all in and Lamb called for about 1,700,000.

Veselin Karakitukov Eliminated in 9th Place ($108,753)

Josh Arieh opened to 250,000 in middle position and Veselin Karakituko moved all-in in late position. The action folded back to Arieh, who called with Karakituko covered.

The flop came     to give Karakitukov a pair of nines and the   on the turn gave him the lead with trips. But the river brought the   to give Arieh the best hand with sevens full of aces and Karakitukov was eliminated on the final table bubble.

"Holy shit! That's insane!" Daniel Negreanu blurted out when he saw the river card.

"I didn't even know that was an out," added Jeremy Ausmus.

Ausmus Left Short

Alexander Petersen raised from middle position to 150,000. Action folded to Jeremy Ausmus on the button who announced pot to 540,000.

Petersen called and they saw a flop of    . Petersen immediately bet enough to put Ausmus all in. Ausmus, with around 400,000 behind, tanked for about a minute before deciding to pick a better spot to risk his tournament left.

Alexander Petersen raised to 150,000 from the button and Laszlo Bujtas called from the small blind. The flop came     and Bujtas check-called a bet of 250,000 from Petersen.

On the   turn, Petersen bet another 650,000 and Bujtas again called. The turn came the   and both players checked.

Bujtas turned over      for the rivered flush and Petersen mucked.

Scott Seiver was in a heads-up pot against Josh Arieh.

Seiver moved all-in on the flop of     and Arieh quickly called with his opponent covered.

A few hands later, Alexander Petersen opened in the cutoff and Seiver three-bet to 440,000 on the button. The action folded back to Petersen, who four-bet to 2,000,000 to put Seiver all-in.

Seiver pointed at the pot and moved his hands back and forth as he did the calculations. Eventually, Seiver called.

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 150,000 from the button and Shaun Deeb defended his big blind. Both players checked the     flop before Deeb led out for around 200,000 on the   turn.

Bujtas called to see the   on the river. Deeb checked and Bujtas bet out 700,000. Deeb used three time bank chips before eventually folding, dropping down to around 400,000.

On the next hand, he raised to 180,000 from the small blind and Daniel Negreanu called. The flop came     and they got the rest of Deeb's chips in the middle.

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 125,000 and was called by Phil Hellmuth and Daniel Negreanu. Both Bujtas and Hellmuth checked the     flop before Negreanu bet 350,000. Bujtas quickly folded.

"F***. I guess I was just supposed to pot it," Hellmuth said. "Come on Phil."

Hellmuth let another hand go and Negreanu raked in the pot.

Veselin Karakitukov was in a heads-up pot against Alexander Petersen on a flop of     with most of his stack already in the middle. Karakitukov went all-in for 115,000 and Petersen called.

Veselin Karakitukov raised to 125,000 from the hijack and Ben Lamb came along from the button. The flop came     and Karakitukov checked over to Lamb, who bet 105,000.

Karakitukov used a time bank before calling as the turn came the  . Both players checked to the   river.

Karakitukov checked for a third time, allowing Lamb to bet 365,000. Karakitukov thought about the decision for more than a minute, expending two more time banks before sending his cards into the muck.
