Mike Sowers Eliminated in 23rd Place ($9,970)

Mike Sowers was left with just over 1,000,000 after doubling up Elio Fox and pushed them all in a few hands later. James Sileo re-shoved from the small blind and Axel Hallay folded his big blind.

Sowers was dominated and fell even farther behind when the     flop gave Sileo the nut flush draw. The board ran out    and Sileo's ace-king kicker played to bust Sowers in 23rd place.

A hand earlier, Mike Azzaro had shoved all in and Sileo exposed his hand before acting. "Good thing I didn't get a penalty. It pays to wait," he said after busting Sowers.

Fox Doubles Through Sowers

Action folded to Elio Fox in the small blind who shoved all in for 1,225,000. Mike Sowers in the big blind called.

Randall Chamberlain got his last 700,000 in the middle against James Sileo with the board showing    . Chamberlain had    for a flush draw, while Sileo had    for a pair of aces.

Hallay Tanks, Makes the Right Call

Heads-up on a flop of    , Garrett Beckman bet 175,000 from early position and Axel Hallay called from the blinds. The turn came the   and Beckman shoved for 1,960,000.

Hallay went deep into the tank, covering his face with both his hands and rubbing his forehead as he considered the call. After re-checking his cards several times over nearly five minutes, Hallay eventually called with    for a pair of tens and a flush draw.

Beckman showed    for an open-ended straight draw but failed to hit the   river, which improved Hallay to a flush. The stacks were counted down and Hallay barely had Beckman covered.

Wilbern Hoffman opened to 210,000 from under the gun and Roongsak Griffeth three-bet to 375,000 in middle position. The action folded back to Hoffman who called.

Griffeth Takes Out Depaulo

Roongsak Griffeth raised preflop and Ryan Depaulo three-bet from the small blind to 1,250,000, leaving himself about 50,000 behind. Griffeth called to see the     flop.

Griffeth immediately put in enough chips to put Depaulo all in before being told it was still Depaulo's turn. Depaulo checked and Griffeth again went all in.

Depaulo checked the tournament board to see how many spots he was away from a pay jump and took his time before a player at the table called the clock. As the tournament official counted to zero, Depaulo stuck in his last chips and turned over   .
