Alexander Doubles Through Rast

DJ Alexander

Brian Rast raised to 6,000 preflop which got calls from John Hinds in the small blind and DJ Alexander in the big blind.

The flop came out     and action checked over to Rast who continued for 8,000 which was called by Hinds in the small blind. Alexander contemplated briefly before deciding to go all-in for 30,500. Rast asked for a count before going all-in himself with the covering stack. Hinds folded and both players cards were revealed.

Alexander was in a dire situation against Rast but the turn   gave him three kings and the river   did not bring Rast a full house and Alexander got the full double.

Hinds Four-Bets

Brian Rast raised to 5,000 under-the-gun and from one seat over, Gabi Livshitz three-bet to 15,000. Action folded all the way to the small blind who voted to four-bet to 46,000 and got two immediate folds, which gave John Hinds the pot.

Klein on the River Against Goss

Bill Klein

A pot was picked up on the river between Bill Klein and Douglas Goss.

The pot was over 15,000 in chips and the board read      

Goss bet 3,600 and action was on Klein who quickly called.

Goss said "If you have a heart or an ace you're good" and Klein showed    to scoop in the pot.

Ribeiro Eliminates Negreanu

Fernando Ribeiro

Fernando Ribeiro and Daniel Negreanu got involved in a hand with the board showing     and the pot was already over 25,000 in chips.

Negreanu bet 10,000 and was called by Ribeiro. The turn was   and again Negreanu bet this time 15,000 leaving himself with only 33,000 behind.

Ribeiro made the call to see a river which was   and Negreanu went all-in. Ribeiro went into the tank before deciding to make the call and Negreanu showed    and said "I told you I wanted to go home."

Ribeiro showed the ace-high    to scoop the pot and eliminated Negreanu.

Melanie Weisner was on the button and made a bet of 50,000 into a board showing     . Tad Macaraeg was in the small blind and had originally checked.

The pot was already over 50,000 in chips and Macaraeg went all-in putting Weisner at risk but she quickly made the call.

Ryan Riess had lost an all-in pot with    versus another players'    and failed to find any improvement, which left him with 7,000.

After that, Riess went all-in under-the-gun for 7,000 and was looked up by the button and the two hands were tabled.

Ryan Laplante

Ryan Laplante lost most of his stack in a coinflip early and was down to his last 8,000. He went all-in under the gun and was called by a player in the cutoff. The button reshoved for 30,000 and action folded back around to the cutoff who called.

Laplante was behind preflop but caught up on the     flop. Only the button was drawing live against Laplante and they failed to catch up on the turn and river   . Laplante scooped the main and the button scooped the side.

Negreanu in a Big Pot for Most his Chips Early

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu got involved in a hand early with the board already showing      .

The pot was already over 50,000 which was about a third of Negreanu's chips.

He was in the small blind and bet 20,000 to Hyojung Urm on the button who went into the tank.

She eventually mucked her hand and Negreanu scooped in the pot.

Livschitz Four-Bets

Gabi Livshitz raised to 4,000 from early positon and from the hijack, Brian Bonacci three-bet to 11,000. Action folded back around to Livschitz who four-bet to 24,000 which Bonacci called.

The flop came down     and Livshitz continued for 18,000, which Bonacci called.

The turn came out a   and Livshitz went all-in for about 55,000 and Bonacci quickly folded, giving Livshitz the pot.
