Lowery Keeps Stackin'

On the     flop with about 30,000 in the middle, action checked to Daniel Lowery and he fired in four orange chips for a total bet of 20,000. His opponent thought about it for two minutes before deciding to fold.

Another player at the table asked for the player folding to show and he obliged, tabling   . Lowery raked in the pot without showing.

Influence of Table #508 Spreading

Danny Chang bet 4,000 on a board of      and Jordan Jayne called. The river came the   and Chang bet another 12,500.

Jayne responded with a raise to around 35,000 and Chang quickly folded.

This table has started a trend where they give a player who gets a walk in the big blind a standing ovation. It has happened seven times so far today. Other tables in the Orange section, hearing the noise coming from here, have adopted the practice and a round of clapping is heard every few minutes.

Moneymaker Eliminates Reyes with Aces Against Kings

(Hand took place during blind levels on the PokerGO stream, which is on a 45-minute delay)

Action picked up with Chris Moneymaker four-betting to 40,500 with    against the    of Bryan Reyes, who called. The flop came out     and Reyes checked it over to the former world champ who downsized his bet to 25,000.

Reyes called to see the   on the turn and he checked it again. Moneymaker fired out a bet of 65,000 and his opponent moved all-in for 203,000. Moneymaker, who had him covered, tanked for a couple minutes before making the call.

The river was the   and the 2003 Main Event champion is now a major factor in the 2021 Main Event. Reyes went from over 350,000 to out in a matter of moments, most to Moneymaker.

Funaro Applies the Pressure

Frank Funaro popped it to 6,000 after a player from early position limped in and that player made the call.

The early position player check-called a bet of 6,000 from Funaro on the flop     and they saw the   turn.

Funaro sized up this time to 19,000 after he was checked to again and that won the pot.

Denise Pratt raised under the gun to 3,500 and both Lucio Procopio and the player on his left made the call.

The dealer fanned a flop of     and all three players checked.

The   hit the turn and Pratt led out for 5,200 and both opponents called.

Mizrachi Picks Up a Strong Hand This Time

Michael Mizrachi three-bet to 12,600 preflop from the button and got two callers, one in middle position and another in the hijack. The flop came     and the player in middle position open-shoved for around 40,000.

The hijack quickly folded, but Mizrachi called just as fast. The all-in player showed    but Mizrachi had the goods this time with   .

The board ran out    and Mizrachi picked up the knockout.

"I could have 7-2 there, they don't know," Mizrachi said while stacking up the chips.

Moneymaker Cracks Aces for Massive Pot

On the side feature table, Chris Moneymaker was caught in a hand with    against an opponent's    on a flop of    . His opponent bet out 15,000 into a pot of 25,400 and the 2003 world champion slow-played and just called.

The turn was a nice clean   for Moneymaker, who faced a bet of 42,000 and then jammed for 129,000. His opponent took a bit of time before inevitably deciding on a call.

The river was the  , giving Moneymaker a 313,800-chip pot and the former champ is now a force in the 2021 World Series of Poker Main Event on Day 2.
