With the board reading      , Shi Chen bet and then faced a raise to 37,500 by Allan Le. Chen moved all-in and Le asked for the chips to be pulled in. It was another 25,100 on top of that to be called and Le reluctantly sent his cards into the muck.

Solano Rivers Trips and Gets Paid

There was heads-up action between Maury Solano from the button and the small blind with a completed board of       showing.

The small blind led out for 3,000 into a 10,000 pot and then called the 14,000 raise from Solano.

Solano quickly rolled over    for trip nines and collected the pot after his opponent mucked their hand facedown.

Tam Bombs The River

Heads-up on a flop of    , Mustapha Kanit was in the big blind and check-called a 3,200 bet from Joshua Tam, who was on the button.

Kanit checked again on the   turn and Tam continued for a 13,200 bet. Kanit then check-raised to 27,500 and Tam called.

The   completed the board and Kanit checked. Tam cut out a bet to 100,000 even and slide it into the middle. Kanit asked for a count and then folded after a bit of thought.

Gawel Forces a Fold From Yokosawa

Masato Yokosawa raised from under-the-gun and was three-bet to 13,500 by Matthew Gawel from the small blind. Yokosawa called.

The flop came     and Gawel continued for 8,000. Yokosawa raised to 20,000 and, undeterred, Gawel made it 50,000 to go.

Konnikova Gets One-Outed to Prevent Quadruple-Up

Maria Konnikova open-shoved a stack of 21,000 and three players called, including Pete Skyllas.

After a flop of     with approximately 84,000 already in the middle, Skyllas moved all-in for 150,000. One opponent called and the other folded.

It looked like Konnikova would be quadrupling up as she had a set of jacks against a set of tens and a pair of jacks. However, the turn brought the   to improve Skyllas to quads and Konnikova was drawing dead heading to the river, as the other opponent had the case jack in his hand.

The river brought the inconsequential   and the popular poker author hit the rail in a brutal manner, while Skyllas raked in a massive pot.

Day 1d chip leader Adedapo Ajayi has seen his stack steadily grow a bit today, but he has a solid challenger for his chips sitting to his left in the form of David Levy.

in a recent pot, a player in early position raised to 2,500 and Ajayi three-bet to 11,000 in late position. David Levy then brought in the four-bet from the small blind to 31,600. The early position player folded and action as back on Ajayi, who opted to fold.
