On the heads-up turn of     , Brandon Adams bet 1,200 and was called by Michael Dolan on the button. Adams then bet the   river for another 2,000 and Dolan called but mucked when he was shown the    for trips kings by Adams.

Mizrachi Sits Down

Robert Mizrachi sat down in the orange section of the Amazon room. Just after he sat down in the big blind, action folded around to the button, who tossed his hand into the muck followed by the small blind doing the same, giving Mizrachi a walk for his first hand at the table.

A Pair of Ladies With a Kicker

After an under the gun raise and a hijack three-bet, Melissa Saphier four-bet to 2,000 from the button.

Both her opponents called and action went three-ways. The       flop was checked down and Saphier showed    to win the pot after    and    were mucked.

Brown Spreading the Wealth

Thomas Brown just took his seat in Amazon's Purple section and handed out $2 bills to each of his tablemates and the dealer. Brown explained that he does this at the start of every Main Event.

"I just think $2 bills are cool," Brown said.

Brown proceeded to limp from under the gun and got three callers before Johnny Landreth raised to 1,300 from the big blind. Brown and the button called to see a flop of    .

All three players checked to the   turn, when Landreth led out for 1,000. Only the button called, but he folded to a bet of 2,000 from Landreth on the   river.

McCullough Makes a Flush

The action folded to the hijack who raised to 600. He was three-bet to 2,000 by Patrick McCullough in the cutoff. It folded back around to the original raiser and he made the call.

They went heads-up to the flop which came    . It was checked to McCullough who continued for 3,000. His opponent called.

The turn card brought the  . The original raiser took the betting lead and threw out 5,500. McCullough called,

The action checked to McCullough on the   river. He fired 11,000. His opponent then jammed having him covered. McCullough only took a few seconds to call off his stack 47,600.

The original raiser flopped top pair and picked up the nut flush draw on the turn but McCullough turned the six-high flush to win a giant pot.

Seiver Pays Straight

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading     . Alfonso Cammarota bet 1,000, Scott Seiver raised to 3,500 from the cutoff and was called.

The river came the  . Cammarota led out with a bet of 2,500. Seiver played with his chips in his hand and seemed on the fence about the decision before eventually placing the chips down for the call.

Cammarota tabled the    for the straight and collected the pot.

Park Wins With Aggression

Peter Park raised to 600 from under the gun and found one caller before Andrew Kelsall three-bet to 2,200 from the button.

Only Park called and action went heads-up to the     flop.

Park check-called the 2,000 continuation bet from Kelsall and the   turn was checked by both players to the   river.

Park led out for 8,500 and won the pot after Kelsall quickly mucked his hand.

Webb Takes It On River

Action picked up on the turn between Courtney Webb in the cutoff and an opponent in the hijack. The board read      and the pot contained roughly 5,300.

The hijack checked to Webb who bet the turn for 3,500 and the hijack called.

The river came out a   and Webb bet once more, this time to the tune of 7,500 and the hijack quickly folded, giving Webb the pot.

Gamble Wins After Three-Betting

2005 champion Joe Hachem just took his seat to the left of Nathan Gamble to begin his 16th Main Event. "What a special day this is," Hachem said.

As Hachem was counting his chips, Gamble three-bet from the button to 1,900 and an opponent called from under the gun. The flop came down    , and Gamble won the pot with a continuation bet of 3,100.

Leng Taking Early Pots

With 2,500 in the pot and     on the board, two players checked to Ryan Leng in the cutoff. Leng bet 1,100 and both opponents folded.

Leng is chipping up early on Day 1e in search of a deep run in the Main Event and his eighth cash of the 2021 WSOP.

Sitron Chips Up Through Gundrum

In a three-bet pot for 1,500 each, the flop showed     and the action checked to Timothy Gundrum on the button. He bet 3,000 and Scott Sitron was the only caller. The   turn brought a check-call for 5,000 by Sitron and he then led the   river for 10,000 in order to claim the pot without showdown, as Gundrum elected to fold.

Hunichen Bets the River

With around 1,600 in the pot and     on the board, a player in early position checked to Chris Hunichen on the button. Hunichen checked back to see the   turn.

Hunichen called his opponent's bet of 500 which brought in the   river.

The opponent checked and Hunichen fired 2,000 which received a quick fold.

Pratt Loses Big Pot To Simon

Denise Pratt

Action picked up on the flop of     with Pratt betting 2,500 into a pot between her and David Simon. Simon responded with a raise to 8,200, which was followed by a re-raise from Pratt to 22,500. Simon thought about it for a bit before moving all-in for 55,800 and Pratt called.
