Muallem Has Aces Cracked

Noam Muallem

Noam Muallem raised to 800 under-the-gun and only the big blind called.

The big blind check-called a bet of 1,500 from Muallem on the flop    .

On the turn  , the big blind check-called again the 3,000 bet from Muallem.

The river was the   and the big blind check-called once more, this time for 5,000.

"My first one today," said Muallem as he tabled   .

The big blind had it beat though with    for two pair.

"Oh wow," said Muallem.

Negreanu Applies Pressure

The button raised to 700 and the small blind called. Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 3,300 from the big blind and the button called while the small blind got out of the way.

The flop came     and both players checked. The turn was  .

Negreanu fired 2,500 and his opponent folded without much hesitation.

Ramdin Has a Better Full House Versus Alache

ClubGG qualifier Oscar Alache bet 2,000 on a board of      and Victor Ramdin and another player called. All three players checked the   on the river.

"Ace," Ramdin said, turning over    for a full house, aces over sixes. Alache mucked, claiming to have had queens full.

"Blame the dealer, don't blame me," Ramdin said.

Action was picked up on the flop between David "ODB" Baker and Michael Noori. With a pot of 2,400 on the     board, action checked to Noori who bet 1,000. Baker raised to 3,100 which Noori snap-called.

Jacobson Extracts Value from Distenfeld

Janelle Jacobson opened the action from early position to 600. Gershon Distenfeld put in a three-bet to 1,800 from the cutoff. The action folded back to Jacobson who made the call.

The flop came    . Jacobson check-called Distenfeld's continuation bet of 2,100.

Allacher Folds Aces to Shalev, Doesn't Believe Him

With around 50,000 in the pot and the board showing      , Simon Shalev shoved for his last 42,000. Action was on Scott Allacher to his left, who went into the tank for several minutes.

"Sorry guys," Allacher said as he questioned Shalev about his hand. Shalev remained silent and just stared back. Allacher eventually folded   .

"Good fold," Shalev said. "I had a set of kings."

"You didn't have a set of kings. You had two hearts," Allacher responded. "He says he had a set of kings, but I don't know."

Chisu Chops a Pot; Loses a Pot

Danut Chisu three-bet an open raise to 1,900 and earned a call by the initial raiser. The     flop was checked to Chisu, who continued for 1,200 and received a call.

Both players then checked the   turn and   river as Chisu chopped with   , his opponent had the equally strong   .

One hand later, Chisu opened and Dan Lowery came along in the big blind. Lowery check-raised the     flop from 700 to 2,200 and earned a call by Chisu.
