Petleshkov Wins Without Showdown

Joseph Mehring raised to 1,200 and was called two ways as Viliyan Petleshkov was among those to toss in calling chips. On the     flop, Mehring check-folded when the third player in the hand bet 2,200 and Petleshkov called. Another call by Petleshkov followed on the   turn when he invested 3,000 and the   river was checked to the Bulgarian. He bet 6,000 and that won the pot uncontested.

Choi Chipping Up

Susan Choi

An under-the-gun player raised to 1,000 and Susan Choi three-bet to 3,000 from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way and the player under-the-gun called.

The flop was    . Choi's opponent check-folded when she fired a bet for 6,000.

Choi is on a red-hot run and she sits among the chip leaders in the early levels of Day 1c.

Yockey Forces a Fold From Nguyen

Bryce Yockey opened to 900 from the lojack and was called by the small blind and Qui Nguyen in the big blind.

Yockey bet 1,000 after being checked to on the     flop and only Nguyen called.

Nguyen checked to Yockey on the   turn and Yockey fired 5,000 into the middle, sending Nguyen deep into the tank.

Nguyen eventually let his hand go and Yockey took down the pot.

Astedt Grabs Some Chips Back

In a blind versus blind limped pot, the flop read     when Niklas Astedt bet 800 and Go Saito made the call.

A player raised in middle position and was called by JC Tran in the cutoff, the player on the button, and the big blind.

Everyone checked on the     flop and the action checked to the initial preflop raiser on the   turn, who bet 1,800. Only Tran called.

Eric Hicks was in position in against Marios Savvides on a board reading     and fired a flop bet of 1,500.

"Make it 3,500," Savvides said before throwing out a raise. Hicks called.

Khamar Xaythavone opened to 1,000 and it was called by the cutoff, Nick Yunis in the small blind and the big blind.

Singh Loses Some to Burr

Melisa Singh

Three ways to the      turn, Melisa Singh bet 2,500 out of the small blind and Christopher Burr called in a late position while the button folded. On the   river, Singh checked and then reluctantly paid off a bet worth 2,000 with the words "do you have a flush?"

No Showdown for Andrada

Choi up Big Early

A player under-the-gun raised and was called by Susan Choi directly behind and the big blind.

The flop came     and it was checked to the initial raiser, who continued for 1,100. Only Choi called.

Both players checked on the   turn, but then the initial raiser bet 2,400 on the   river.

Choi cut out a raise to 22,400 and placed it into the middle. Her opponent quickly folded and Choi scooped the pot.

Abernathy Forces a Fold

A player opened to 800 and it was called by the small blind and Samantha Abernathy in the big blind.
